Zhengzhou is an ancient city, which was the capital of Shang Dynasty as early as 3,5 years ago. At that time, bronze smelting technology and ceramics were quite developed. The celadon porcelain jar unearthed in Zhengzhou is the earliest primitive porcelain in China.
