Legal analysis: you need to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao Pass, and the process is as follows: (1) For the first time, you must apply in person at the exit-entry administration office where your household registration is located; (2) Carry a resident ID card and a copy (copied on A4 paper, or copied on the same piece of paper); (3) Fill in the Application Form for Entry and Exit Certificates of China Citizens; (4) Two 2-inch color photos with light background (photos can also be taken at their own expense). At the same time, go to Hong Kong and Macao for endorsement respectively. If you only go to Hong Kong, you have to apply for a Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macao, you have to apply for a Macao endorsement. If you go to Hong Kong and Macao, you must apply for both endorsements.

Legal basis: Article 10 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration. Citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and Taiwan Province Province shall apply for a permit according to law and abide by the relevant provisions of this Law. Specific management measures shall be formulated by the State Council. Eleventh China citizens leaving or entering the country shall submit their passports, other travel documents and other exit and entry documents to the entry-exit frontier inspection authorities, and shall go through the prescribed procedures before leaving or entering the country. At qualified ports, the entry-exit frontier inspection organs shall provide special passages and other convenient measures for China citizens to enter and leave the country.
