On the American visa invitation letter

After receiving the business invitation, you can apply for a business visa.

The process is as follows:

1. Fill in the online non-immigrant visa application form DS- 160 and print out the "confirmation page" with barcode.

Note: All applicants, including children, must submit the DS- 160 form online and bring a clearly printed "confirmation page" when going to the embassy or consulate for an interview. Please ensure that all information is complete and correct before submission. No changes can be made after submission. Remember the DS- 160 number to make an appointment for an interview.

2. Pay the visa application fee.

Note: After the payment is completed, print the receipt number and keep it properly. Once lost, it cannot be replaced. If you don't provide the receipt number, you will not be able to make an appointment.

3. Make an appointment for an interview.

Materials to be provided when making an appointment:

(1) passport number;

(2) The number on the payment receipt for visa application;

(3) Ten (10) digit barcode number on the confirmation page of DS-160.

4. Go to the appointed place for an interview.

Go to the embassy or consulate for an interview at the appointed time. Please take with you the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS- 160, the recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports. If any of the above materials is missing, the application will not be accepted.

Note: Food and any liquids, including drinks, are not allowed to be brought into the visa office of the embassy. It is also not allowed to bring any electronic equipment, including mobile phones, so it is recommended not to bring anything except keys, wallets and visa application folders. Honesty is very important in an interview. Misleading, lying and/or submitting relevant false materials may lead to permanent refusal.

5. Apply for passports and visas.

If the visa is passed, send the passport and visa to the designated place selected during the appointment interview.

Required materials

1. Valid passport: If your passport will expire or be damaged within six months of your expected arrival in the United States, or there is no blank visa issuance page on your passport, please apply for a new passport before coming for an interview.

2. Confirmation page of DS-160 Form: Please indicate your name, Chinese name, China home address, company name and address code on it. Please print the form confirmation page vertically on A4 paper. Please bring the printed confirmation page of DS- 160 form with you during the interview. Do not use the fax confirmation page.

3. A photo: a 2-inch-by-2-inch (565,438+0mm x 565,438+0mm) color front photo taken within 6 months, with a square white background. Please see the photo requirements for details. Please stick the photo on the cover of your passport with scotch tape.

4. Official letter of introduction (address, telephone number, fax number, applicant's position, purpose of going to China and guarantee of returning to China) and business license (original, copy and translation) issued by Company.

5. Original invitation letter: If you are invited to visit American residents, it will be helpful to provide the following information: the information of the inviter, the purpose of visiting the United States, and the pre-arranged travel schedule. If you just travel to the United States, you don't need to show an invitation letter;

6. Original receipt of visa application fee.

7. Passports containing previous visas to the United States, including passports that have expired.

8. Evidence that can explain why you will definitely return to China: produce economic, social, family or other binding documents to help prove your intention to return to China after a short stay in the United States. Due to different personal circumstances, the evidence that the applicant should produce is also different. The following documents can help visa officers to evaluate whether they intend to return to China: household registration book, ID card, employment certificate, salary table that can objectively reflect monthly income, passbook with regular entry and exit records, etc.

9. Personal information: Personal English resume, original personal ID card, original household registration book or original temporary residence permit are required.

10. proof of funds: proof of the ability to pay all the expenses of staying in the United States without a job. For example, a payroll that can objectively reflect monthly income, a passbook with regular access records, etc. Note: Please don't show your bank deposit certificate. Proof of deposit is not helpful for visa application. )

If you want to go to the United States for business activities, please consider bringing the following information to the interview: where you will visit, who you will meet, what will be discussed during the meeting, and what products you plan to buy in the United States. The following documents may be helpful to the application: a detailed invitation letter issued by the American partner stating the purpose of the applicant's visit to the United States; Contracts or other agreements signed with American partners; Information about machines, software or other equipment tested or purchased in the United States, such as product manuals or catalogues.

Interview-free condition

(1) The last visa applied in the United States, more than once a year, the applicant went to the United States with a visa and left the country during his stay;

(2) The application time is within 48 months from the visa expiration date, and the applicant has not been refused a visa by the United States after obtaining a visa from the United States;

(3) The last application for a US visa was not investigated by the consulate;

(4) The two applications have the same purpose;

Please note that the above materials are not detailed, and showing the above documents during the interview does not guarantee the visa. You must be prepared in advance so that you can reasonably explain the purpose of your visit to the United States and the reason for returning to China during the interview, and show relevant evidence to prove your statement.

Matters needing attention

1. The applicant will go to the United States for a short time and will leave the United States before the visa expires;

2. The applicant has a fixed residence, career or career concerns in his own country, or has deep-rooted ties in property, family, society and culture, which forced him to return from the United States;

3. The applicant went to the United States purely for business needs, and his itinerary was also in line with this business activity;

4. The applicant's round-trip travel expenses and expenses in the United States have been prepared, and there is no need to work in the United States;

5. The applicant will not engage in criminal or illegal activities during his stay in the United States.
