In which city is Furong Town located?

Furong Town is located in Yongshun County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province.

Furong Town is a canyon flat dam at the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. In ancient times, it was an important pass for business travelers to rest, heroes to gather for righteousness, and military strategists to compete. There are two waterways, a stream and a river, flowing around the town. It is surrounded by water on three sides and is a long and narrow peninsula-like terrain.

Starting from the town, go south to the crossing and go to Guangdong; go west and cross the stone arch bridge, which is a road leading to Guangxi. It is impossible to verify which dynasty and which generation it was. The local officials who guarded this place implemented benevolent policies, or they were arty. They ordered people to plant several long skating hibiscus trees beside the streams and rivers, which were pure and green, and became this small town. In order to appreciate the unique scenery, they also sent people to dig out the large swamp at the foot of the back mountain into a square pond, which was filled with water hibiscus, fish farming, lotus picking, and lotus root production.

Whenever the hibiscus bloom in the lakes and ponds, or when the hibiscus bloom on the river bank, this town is a good place to enjoy the hibiscus. Therefore, Furong Town, together with Longshan Liye Town, Luxi Pu Shi Town and Huayuan Chadong Town, is known as one of the "Four Famous Towns in Western Hunan", and is also known as "Little Nanjing".
