On May Day, summer vacation is coming. Where to go in hot summer? Let's go to the island! Qushan Island in Zhoushan is the island closest to the mainland. You can get to the island in half an hour at the fastest. There are few people and beautiful scenery!

Qushan Island is located in the north-central part of Zhoushan Islands, Zhejiang Province, between Shengsi Islands and Daishan Island. It is the seventh largest island off the coast of China. It has jurisdiction over 79 islands and is the largest island in the Zhoushan Archipelago besides Zhoushan Island. In ancient times, it was called Daqu Mountain, Yao Mountain or Ga Mountain.

At present, there are two main directions to enter Qushan Island: one is Zhoushan Island, and the other is Shanghai.

Windmill Sightseeing Platform

There are 48 wind turbines on the ridges of the island, operating 24 hours a day. From a distance, the entire island looks like a windmill, whirring and rotating under the sea breeze, which is very spectacular.

Windmills were introduced from the Netherlands, so they are also called the "Little Netherlands of the East". Each windmill tower is 55 meters high, costs 10 million yuan, and has an annual power generation output value of 3 million yuan.

Shuanglong Beach

Located in the northeast of Qushan Town, there is a 4-kilometer-long "W"-shaped bay. In the middle of the bay, there is a long reef extending to the center of the bay, called "Dog's Head Neck".

Beyond the "Dog's Head Neck", there is an atoll independent of the sea, known as "Ma Reef". This reef is located halfway between two bays. The "dog's neck" and "ma reef" divide the bay into two sub-bays with a curvature radius of slightly more than half a kilometer.

Special fishing villages

There are two fishing villages on Qushan Island: Tiantu Fishing Village and Shiliang Fishing Village.

Shiliang Village is located on the beach, surrounded by mountains and sea, with a vast hinterland. It passes through Shiliang Village and along the seaside promenade, where all kinds of seafood are dried along the road.

Yutu Village is located in Wanliang Community of Qushan Island and is also a regional central village. Facing the Yellow River and across the sea from Shulang Island, there are 95 ships sailing in the village, with beautiful environment and simple folk customs. There are leisure fishing bases (mainly fishing), fishermen's entertainment, "Fisherman's Wharf" seafood and other tourism and leisure projects.

Thousand acres of salt fields

Since the Song Dynasty, Qushan has been known as the "hometown of salt tribute". To this day, the local people still retain the tradition of making salt from the sun.

Green Field Uninhabited Village

In the southwest corner of Qushan Island, there is a water village outside, an old village overgrown with ivy, which was eroded by nature due to abandonment .
