Qianjiang Oilfield is called Jianghan Oilfield of China Petrochemical Company. Jianghan Oilfield of China Petrochemical Company is located in the beautiful and rich Jianghan Plain, in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, bordering Hanshui River in the north, Yangtze River in the south, Wuhan 150km in the east and Jingzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, 60km in the west.

Jianghan Plain has become an important oil exploration and development base in southern China.

Since 2000, shale gas has been discovered in western Hubei and eastern Chongqing for the first time in Jianghan Oilfield. After the development and construction of Fuling 10 billion cubic shale gas field, Jianghan Oilfield has ushered in a historical opportunity of great breakthrough and great leap. 2012165438+1October 28th, the first shale gas well with commercial development value in Jiaoshiba block of Fuling, Jiaoye 1HF, was successfully tested, which marked a major breakthrough in shale gas development in China.
