Main attractions

1. Thuan Chau Island

In Halong Bay, three kilometers west of Mu Mu Island, there is a Thuan Chau Island Island. This is the only earthen island in Halong Bay. The eastern part of the island has many two-story buildings that stand out. One of the octagonal red-tiled buildings is nestled among green pines and white sandalwood trees. This was the place where President Ho Chi Minh often rested when he visited Halong Bay during his lifetime.

2. Incense Burner Stone

It is located in the southeast of Mumu Island about 5 kilometers away from the tourist pier. It looks like an incense burner with a small bottom. According to the beliefs of ordinary Vietnamese and local fishermen, burning incense in the incense burner expresses the hope of connecting with heaven, earth and ancestors. Therefore, the image of the incense burner is very affectionate in the minds of the local people.

3. Fighting cock stone

It is located on the south side of Mumu Island, about 800 meters away from the incense burner stone. Two small rocky mountains about 12 meters high stand facing each other like a pair of big chickens with spread wings separated by a narrow trench. Two stone mountains were chosen as the most unique image of Halong Bay. The Fighting Cock Stone was chosen as the symbol of Vietnam's tourism industry in 2000.
