During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, there was a village where bandits were afraid to enter, but the Japanese army made a detour, and now it has become a tourist attraction. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the Japanese army committed heinous crimes on the land of China. They killed people and set fires. Especially when they carried out the "Three Lights" policy, how many people died and how many villages were destroyed. However, when I was in a village, the Japanese army suffered a big loss. From then on, when they saw this village, the Japanese army made a detour. Now this village has become a tourist attraction. This is Zhuge Village.

Zhuge Village, also known as Bagua Village and formerly known as Gao Long Village, is located in the west of Lanxi City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. It is the largest settlement of Zhuge Liang's descendants discovered so far. The architectural pattern in the village is arranged according to the pattern of "eight arrays", and a large number of ancient houses in Ming and Qing Dynasties are preserved. It is the only ancient cultural village in China, unique in the world. There are more than 4000 people living here now.

Speaking of Zhuge Liang, everyone is familiar with it. During the Three Kingdoms period, the prime minister of Shu was an outstanding politician and strategist. Lu Xun, who used to put an "eight-array diagram" with stones, was almost trapped in the array. This Zhuge Village was not built by Zhuge Liang, but by Zhuge Cao Meng, a descendant of Zhuge Liang's 26th generation, imitating the Eight Arrays. When Zhuge Cao Meng came to Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province at that time, he found that it was a treasure, which was of great benefit to future generations. He established a Zhuge village here, and the Zhuge family has lived here ever since.

Zhuge village has a unique geographical location, such as the bottom of the pot, which is low in the middle and gradually high around. Water from all directions gathers at the bottom of the pot to form a pond, which is the bell pool. This clock pool is the core of Zhuge Village and the basic point of the array. This clock pool has a very magical place, that is, one side of the pool is water and the other side is ground, forming a pattern of nine palaces and eight diagrams Tai Chi. Around the clock pool, there are eight alleys extending outward, leading to eight high earth mountains outside. There are many narrow alleys connected horizontally in the alleys, including many ancient houses. The alley near the clock pool is relatively straight, and the farther it goes, the more tortuous it becomes. Many alleys are connected vertically and horizontally, like a maze, and outsiders can easily get lost in it.

It is said that during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, a small group of Japanese troops came here and found this village. At that time, they were very happy They broke in and started the business of burning and killing aggression. After they never wanted to go in again, they lost their way and couldn't find a way out. They were killed by the villagers' sneak attack. Only one or two lucky people left here alive, and then there was no Japanese harassment of Zhuge Village. After many Japanese troops came here, they made a detour. In addition to the Japanese army, it was once invaded by bandits. Every time the bandits sent people into the village, they lost track, and gradually the bandits never dared to attack here again.

Now Zhuge Village holds a grand sacrifice ceremony every year to commemorate Zhuge Liang's birthday. This place has become a very famous tourist attraction.
