The influence of IELTS composition tourism on society

With the continuous development of tourism, the influence of tourism has increasingly become one of the concerns of scholars. The social and cultural impact of tourism is another controversial topic after the economic impact of tourism. At the beginning of the study, most scholars at home and abroad believed that tourism development had brought negative effects on culture and caused cultural changes. Many scholars feel sad about this and call tourism "neo-colonialism" in 2 1 century. However, with the development of society and the deepening of research, people gradually realize that this judgment is one-sided, and thus put forward some new views on the social and cultural impact of tourism development. Tourism development will inevitably bring social and cultural changes to local communities, and how to treat these changes correctly is one of the important problems we are facing at present. With thinking about this problem, the author began to write this graduation thesis. Starting with the literature review, this paper reveals the research status and existing problems at home and abroad. Using the method of empirical analysis, through the research methods of data collection, questionnaire design, questionnaire distribution and face-to-face interview, this paper analyzes Xianrendong Village, one of the typical villages in Yunnan Province, finds out the problems and draws conclusions. Tourism development will have an impact on the social culture of local communities, but this impact does not exist alone, but is accompanied by other factors such as the deepening of media propaganda, economic development, and the increase of migrant workers. But for the convenience of discussion, this paper does not consider the influence of other factors on community social culture, but separates tourism from other influencing factors and discusses the influence of tourism development on community social culture separately. This paper focuses on the influence of tourism development on the social culture of local communities, and what changes these influences may bring to local culture in the future, and questions the conclusion put forward by many scholars that tourism development will lead to conflicts between communities and tourism, and demonstrates through examples that this phenomenon will not happen in China.
