How to make and cut sleeping bags

1. First, cut out the size drawing. You can use chalk or pencil to draw the size of the baby's sleeping bag. If you want to use it for a longer time, you can keep the shape of the vest's neckline and the curvature of the tail. Just increase the length.

2. Then prepare the fabric you want, try to choose something light and warm, one piece at the front and one at the back. The fabric at the back is 8 cm longer than the one at the front.

3. Then fold the two pieces of fabric in half and trim off the excess fabric according to the drawn lines. If you feel that the shape of the neckline is wrong, you can correct it yourself.

4. After cutting the shape, you can hem it. You can buy hemming strips in advance. It is best to use about 5 cm. First, turn the inside of the front fabric and the hemming strip together. When turning, make sure that the rightmost part is on the rightmost side of the presser foot and keep a straight line.

5. Go around the edge on the front and back, and then come back to process the front. The front hemming strip should be rolled inward a little. After the hemming is completed, add two pieces to the baby's neckline. With just one button, the baby's sleeping bag is complete.
