Historical evolution:

Quanjiao County was founded in the Western Han Dynasty, and its name evolved from an ancient country. According to legend, Gulaiwen established the ancient pepper country in Jiaoling (also known as FuBusan, in this city). In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was a city of Chu religion, and later it lived for the whole family. In the Han Dynasty, Jiaoyi County was established, hence the name "Quanjiao County".

During the Three Kingdoms period, Quanjiao first belonged to Wu, then to Wei, and was under the jurisdiction of Huainan County. Quanjiao and Fuling counties were restored in the Western Jin Dynasty, which belonged to Huainan County.
