Introduction of exhibition center

The exhibition center covers an area of 500 square meters. It consists of marine specimen exhibition area, underwater biological corner, life aquarium and popular science activity classroom. Small, but exquisite. Setting up marine elements such as reefs and corals along the road makes people feel immersive. Living organisms and specimens attract the most attention.

It is understood that 384 species of marine fish, 233 species of shellfish, 64 species of shrimp, 99 species of crabs, 109 species of algae, 17 species of tendrils, 34 species of annelids, 39 species of echinoderms and others such as anemones are collected and displayed here. The oldest specimens can be traced back to the 1960s.

"Yueqing Bay is the three major shellfish breeding bases in Zhejiang Province, with vast waters, deep harbors and rich biodiversity. The main economic fish are more than 20 species such as large yellow croaker, 58 species of shellfish and 60 species of crustaceans. In the exhibition hall, visitors can watch the introduction on the display window and search and read more information on the computer equipped next to them.

Infrastructure of exhibition center

The exhibition center is equipped with a voice guide system, which allows visitors to understand the marine world more deeply and conveniently. Combined with the exhibition center, a popular science tour route will be built in the base, and blocks such as observing the shrimp and shellfish culture process and walking in the mangrove corridor will be set up under the microscope.

It is reported that this exhibition center is an industrial project in the rural revitalization demonstration zone of "flowers and fruits, seaside countryside" in our city this year.
