Is there a special dress code for traveling to Thailand?

When traveling to Thailand, some places have special requirements for clothes, such as the Grand Palace and the Jade Buddha Temple. Pants and skirts are required to cover knees, shoulders and belly buttons should not be exposed, and slippers should not be worn.

To go to Thailand, you can wear a dress with a collar (cuffs cover your shoulders and don't expose your armpits), a pair of pants or a skirt that is longer than your knees.

You need to wear sleeveless clothes on formal occasions. Girls wear knee-length skirts and boys wear trousers or other casual pants (jeans are not allowed).
