What training should ordinary people receive before space travel?

If you want to travel in space, it is very necessary to carry out space simulation training on the ground. For ordinary people, although they can't be as professional as astronauts, the training process in advance is by no means simple if they want to board space. Any space tourist who takes part in orbital flight must participate in various modules of astronaut training, such as flight training, overweight training, weightlessness training, underwater training, model training, physical training and survival training.

In this NASA space training course, what impressed Han Geng most was the experience of zero gravity and physical limits.

Zero gravity experience

Han Geng's zero-gravity training this time includes diving with the plane, spiraling down and rotating 360 degrees. These trainings even experienced four times of gravity when they rose, even it was very difficult to raise their hands, and there was a strong sense of weightlessness when diving.

Aircraft weightlessness experience

Weightlessness training is accomplished by using weightless aircraft. Parabolic flight can be completed, forming microgravity time 15-40 seconds. People can feel, experience and be familiar with weightlessness. During the weightless time y, they can do all kinds of experiments, such as eating, drinking, dressing, closing their eyes and opening their eyes. They can even move a cabin into the cabin and climb out of the cabin during the weightless time y, so as to train the extravehicular activities in space.

France begins weightless flight experience in space

On March 5th, 20 13, local time, in Meyrignac, France, the passengers who participated in the "experience weightless flight in space" took a special Airbus A300 zero-gravity plane to experience the feeling of floating in the air and spend the dreamtimes. This is the first commercial flight of this kind in Europe, with a charge of 6,000 euros per passenger. Through rapid ascent and descent, passengers can experience weightlessness for 20 seconds at a time, and the cumulative weightlessness experience time is about 5 minutes. The whole flight time is about two and a half hours.

Weightlessness experience in water

Besides weightlessness, underwater training is also a good method.

Like NASA, the Russian Federal Space Agency also uses a huge pool for spacewalk training. For astronauts, underwater training is the most suitable method for engineers to simulate the weightless environment in space. In addition, astronauts can also acquire and master the necessary skills to operate outside the orbiting space station. This pool can hold 20 metric tons of space station model, with a depth of12m, a diameter of 23m and a volume of 5000m3. It is reported that this underwater space station has been running since 1980. The original design aims to train astronauts, test the space station model and conduct experimental research under microgravity conditions. So far, tourists are occasionally allowed to enter the security equipment above for simulation tasks. In the swimming pool, there are health sensors, and any trained astronaut must meet the regulations of the Russian Federal Space Agency, such as weight, height and medical requirements. After being selected, the preparatory astronauts who want to fly to outer space will put on real spacesuits and simulate space missions in this floating box. In addition, the water tank of the underwater space station is also used for ergonomic testing of spacesuits and some outer space equipment.
