The origin of Shizuishan

Shizuishan also has a name called "Shizuishan". This name comes from a folk legend and is based on Shizuishan. A vivid interpretation of the terrain. The historical records of Shizuizi can be found in the historical data of the first year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1723). At that time, the Qing government decided to "move the market entrance to Shizui" to facilitate the mutual market transactions between Mongolia and Han.

Around the fourth year of Yongzheng (1726), with the excavation of Huinong Canal, the increasing development of ethnic trade and the establishment of "Shikou", the population in Shizuishan area gradually increased and settlements were formed, and the mountain name was borrowed.
