Jinan Travel Guide Tourist Attractions and Routes
Jinan, known as Quancheng in ancient times, is a characteristic city with a long history. The city's traditional culture has been perfectly preserved, and many historical buildings are presented to tourists. This is an excellent city to visit and a particularly interesting place. Let’s introduce it in detail below.
On January 7, Jinan experienced its first heavy snowfall in 2008. After the heavy snow, Daming Lake is beautiful. Suddenly I remembered Lao She's "Winter in Jinan", it really looked like a fairyland on earth.
Must-visit attractions
Daming Lake
The water quality of Huming Lake is clear and has the characteristics of "it does not rise for a long time after rain and does not dry up for a long time". Although there is no summer, the lotus flowers in summer are worth seeing. The water of the lake is crystal clear, surrounded by weeping willows, green lotus flowers, and Qianfo Mountain in the south is reflected in the lake. The lotus flowers are in full bloom, forming a natural picture with bursts of lotus fragrance, full of lotus leaves, and even a winter snow scene. Just like a fairy tale world, I suddenly feel that I am really happy to be a Jinan person.
In addition to walking, boating on Daming Lake is also a good choice for visiting Daming Lake.
Wulongtan
Tourist attractions: the former site of the Shandong Provincial Leadership Agency, Qin Qiong’s former residence, etc.
Wulongtan Park is one of the four major spring groups in Jinan. It is located outside the west gate of Jinan Old City, next to Baotu Spring. There are 26 ancient famous springs in different shapes, with streams flowing across the area and beautiful scenery. A clear pool of water and colorful koi carp, maybe "The Quiet Time" is nothing more than that.
Baotu Spring
Attractions: Guanlan Pavilion, Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall, Luo Yuantang and Shangzhi Hall are all breathtaking attractions.
Baotu Spring is the symbol of Spring City and is known as "the best spring in the world". The horizontal plaque on the gate of the scenic spot is the imperial pen of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty; the green willows here are swaying gently, the spring pool is deep, sparkling, and crystal clear. The scenic area is small and can be visited in about an hour;
Tickets: 40 yuan/person;
Spring City Square
Quancheng Square is a good place for people in Jinan to take a leisurely walk place. They like to take a walk here after dinner. The light show at night is particularly gorgeous. The square perfectly connects the moat surrounding the city park and the Baotu Spring scenic area. It's really too big. You can also watch the fountain at 8pm, visit the underground Ginza Shopping Plaza, and eat snacks at Furong Snack Street not far away, which are all good choices.
Black Tiger Spring
Only when you go to Black Tiger Spring can you truly get close to the real life of Jinan citizens. Although there are more than 800 springs in Jinan, the one closely related to the lives of Jinan people is Black Tiger Spring. The water here is very clear, the spring water is like ice, a little sweet and delicious. People bring various water containers to the pool to get water to take home.
Black spring water gushes out from three tiger mouths through the tunnel at the bottom of the cave and pours into the pool. It is clear and transparent, and the volume of the spring water is second only to Baotu Spring. You can also take a boat to Baotu Spring from here.
Qianfo Mountain
Qianfo Mountain, close to the city, is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. With its undulating peaks and beautiful scenery, it is the most interesting among the three major scenic spots (along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake). There are sightseeing buses in the scenic area, and you can take the cable car and slide down the mountain. Super exciting and worth a try.
You can reach the top of the mountain in less than half an hour. Looking to the north, the surface of Daming Lake is like a mirror, with Jinan City in full view. If the weather is good, you can also see the Yellow River.
It is recommended to play for 2-5 hours;
Gourmet gathering place, food paradise
Kuankuanli
Li Kuan, located in Jinan The core area of ??Quancheng Road is an antique building with a history of 15 years, which brings together various snacks from all over the country. The streets here are wide and the prices are affordable. You can watch artistic performances on the street while eating. The whole street gives people a petty bourgeois feel, showing a clean and foreign style, with fewer tourists than Furong Street.
Lianhua Street
Of all the old streets in Jinan, Furong Street is the busiest. There are many kinds of special snacks here, full of commercial atmosphere. Countless vendors were hawking on both sides of the road, and they were completely pushed along. It is also a good choice to travel here to experience the excitement
Jinan, a spring city, is imprinted with spring culture everywhere. From street lamp decorations to the overall design of landmark buildings such as museums, they all follow the rhythm of "spring". To this day, people in the old city are drinking spring water, making tea, making wine, and cooking with the spring water. It is clear and sweet, flowing in the blood of Jinan people. It is really a special city.
