Laojun Mountain is the main peak in the northeast of Shennongjia. According to legend, Taishang Laojun was an alchemist here, so it was called Laojun Mountain. Laoshan Mountain is 2936 meters above sea level. There are caves and erected stone pillars on the mountain, as well as scenic spots such as laojunmiao and Jade Emperor Hall, so many Taoist believers go to visit.
