For a photographer, you should travel in rainy days. Bad weather is an excellent opportunity for photography, and there will always be strange light and shadow effects at that time. So I often have tripods, rain covers, raincoats, umbrellas, leather coats, masked scarves and other gadgets in my bag. However, be careful to sail for ten thousand years. The first thing to be solved is personal safety. In the case that physical strength and other means of transportation cannot reach the shooting location, you should give up on your own initiative.

I once made an appointment with a friend to go to Meili Snow Mountain before the National Day. It began to rain in Mao Mao the day before yesterday, and the valley was foggy, and the stones at the foot gradually became slippery. Walking in the rain, there are many negative oxygen ions in the air, and physical strength recovers quickly. I can go further when I am calm.

But as the altitude rises, the air gets colder and colder, and it turns into sleet at 3500 meters. Although our equipment and clothes are all quick-drying fabrics, once we stop, the mountain wind will still make people tremble. That night, when we came to rest in the camp under the Quevara Pass, it was already white.

At this time, the bad weather was no longer suitable for moving on. More people realized this and gathered in the tent camp under the mountain pass. In the end, the space of 20 square meters was crowded with people. The advantage of many people is that they can squeeze in to keep warm. In this way, I spent the night on a small bench and fell asleep.

The next morning, I stepped on the thick snow and crossed the mountain pass to Linzhi, Tibet. There is a large area of virgin forest here. Deeply wetted by yesterday's rain, it gives off a sweet fragrance. Moisture forms advection clouds in the sky. After falling again 1500m, it began to rain in Mao Mao under the advection cloud.

In this way, in a short day, I experienced human, light rain and heavy snow. That feeling is so wonderful that I will never forget it after many years.
