What credit card should I bring to Thailand?

Just take your UnionPay credit card to Thailand. If consumers have credit cards such as JCB credit card, VISA credit card, American Express card, MasterCard and Diner's card, they can also carry them. UnionPay credit card is a credit card with UnionPay logo, which meets the requirements of unified specifications and technical standards. Banks start at 62.

You can use credit cards and savings cards to travel to Thailand, but it must be UnionPay cards. If you need to withdraw Thai baht from ATM, it is more appropriate to use China UnionPay savings card. If you are shopping, you can choose to use a credit card.

Matters needing attention in using UnionPay cards in Thailand:

1. Major shopping malls and shopping centers in Thailand, especially those in popular tourist cities such as Bangkok, can basically use the world's major credit cards. Credit card payment is only recommended under special circumstances. Generally, it is better to pay in cash for shopping, because some credit cards and businesses will charge a handling fee of 2.25%-5%.

2. Use a savings card to withdraw money from an ATM with UnionPay logo in Thailand, and the charge for each withdrawal is 50 baht. Take 100 baht at a time, and the handling fee is also 50 baht.

3. The daily accumulative withdrawal of UnionPay standard debit card shall not exceed the equivalent of RMB 654.38+0,000. Credit card withdrawal limit should be consulted with the issuing bank. If it exceeds the withdrawal limit, it is likely to be rejected because it exceeds the limit.
