Hefei to Xi’an travel guide
Day 1: One-day regular tour of the city: Forest of Steles - City Wall (ticket) - Drum Tower - Muslim Street - History Museum - Big Wild Goose Pagoda (ticket) - Small Wild Goose Pagoda can go early Try it in a small shop or stall, and then take a bus to the Bell Tower (ticket) and Drum Tower of Beilin. There are usually buses to the Bell Tower or Drum Tower anywhere in Xi'an. A short distance to the east from the Bell Tower, you pass through the Luomashi Pedestrian Street, and not far away is the Forest of Steles. After passing the Forest of Steles, we arrived at the South Square (Yongning Gate). It costs 40 yuan per person to go up to the city wall. This is the longest-preserved Ming Dynasty city wall in China. It is majestic and worth a visit. There are bicycles on the city wall where you can go around the city wall. After coming down from the city wall, you can go back to Muslim Street for lunch. I have long heard about the famous mutton soaked in desert, soup dumplings, stir-fried jelly, etc. It is recommended to only order one bowl of each item, try it first, and then order if it tastes good, otherwise it will be a waste. After lunch, you can take a bus to the History Museum at Gulou Station. After leaving the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, we walked for about ten minutes to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, where there is the largest musical fountain in Asia. You can walk from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to the Tang Furong Garden (ticket). In fact, this is a theme park. It depends on your interest whether you want to go in or not. In the evening, there will be a water curtain movie and various Tang Dynasty performances and cultural introductions. Day 2: (Eastern Line Tour) Take a bus from the east square of the railway station - Huaqing Pool (ticket) - Terracotta Warriors and Horses (ticket). There is a special line to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the east square of the railway station. The fare is 6 yuan/person to Huaqing Pool. If you go directly to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, it is 7 yuan/person, but it is recommended to go to Huaqing Pool first, because there is a bus to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses at the entrance of Huaqing Pool for 3 yuan/person. The entrance fee to Huaqing Pool is 70 yuan per person, and the tour guide fee is also 30 yuan. The hot springs in Huaqing Pool (ticket) are worth a dip. Lintong's Lantian jade is very famous and not expensive. You can buy it. Of course, the price depends on the individual's bargaining level. From the entrance of Huaqing Pool, you can take bus 306 to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. On the way, you will actually pass by the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang (ticket). Friends who are interested and have time can get off the bus and visit. After visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, if you want to buy souvenirs at the store at the door, remember to negotiate the price. Generally, if you ask for five yuan a box (note that it is one box), you can probably make a deal for three yuan. Day 3: (Western Route) Qianling Mausoleum (Tickets) - Famen Temple (Tickets) Scenic Area In the morning, go to Qianxian County to visit the only joint tomb of Empress Wu Zetian and her husband Tang Gaozong Li Zhi in Chinese history - Qianling Mausoleum, and visit the "Wuhan Tomb" Then visit the Tomb of Prince Yide, one of the seventeen tombs of the Qianling Mausoleum, and appreciate the Tang Dynasty murals, Tang tricolor and other precious historical relics unearthed in the tomb. (Or visit the Tomb of Princess Yongtai). In the afternoon, visit the Famen Temple Scenic Area (the tour time is about 3 hours). Visit Famen Temple, known as the ancestor of the pagoda temple in Guanzhong, appreciate the 148-meter Namaste Relic Pagoda, pay homage to the only phalange relic of the Buddha, and recreate the glory of Buddhism in the prosperous age.
