Dongji Island Travel Guide 2017 Is Dongji Island fun?

Dongji Island may be more popular with anglers and photographers, because the scenery here is indeed great. I really like this kind of environment and quiet life. Looking at the scenery and living leisurely is really the life you imagined.

Cost: 1200

Note: Mosquito repellent!!! (mosquitoes are very powerful on the island), sunscreen is a must; long sleeves and long pants are recommended when climbing Dongfu Mountain Shoes, because there are many mosquitoes and are very poisonous, and there are quite a lot of haystacks during the mountain climbing. Shorts and short skirts are inconvenient; if you are in Miaozi Lake, you can wear a long skirt or something and take some beautiful photos. DAY1

The train arrives at Ningbo at 3 a.m. (6:30), take the bus from Ningbo South Bus Station (South Square of the Railway Station) to Shenjiamen (2 hours), and take bus No. 6 from Shenjiamen. Banshengdong Pier (7 stops), take the Dongji Ferry from Shenjiamen to Miaozi Lake at 11 o'clock (you can buy tickets one day in advance by following Zhoushan Starfish Ferry on WeChat), and you will arrive at Miaozi Lake in two hours. (If you go directly to Dongfu Island, just change to another ship at Miaozi Lake. There will be staff on board to guide you.)

As the main island, Miaozi Lake has relatively complete facilities, including B&Bs and food stalls. a lot of. Let’s talk about our accommodation first. We stayed in 809 B&B (also known as “WTF International Youth Hostel”). The family room for three people cost 380 a night. However, the weather was bad in the past few days and there were no people. The boss upgraded it for free. Ocean view room. The people in 8090 are all young people of about the same age, so when the weather is good, there will be more activities at night when the crowds are crowded, such as barbecue, werewolf killing, red envelope grabbing, etc. It is more fun to have fun, and the boss is also a funny and funny person. There are also professional photographers here who can do travel photography (it seems like 500 for one day or two days). Let’s talk about our dinner. Since there are many food stalls and noodle restaurants on Miaozi Lake, I didn’t know which one to choose, so I asked the boss at 8090. The boss recommended the Xiaolang Food Stall (just below the Xiaolin Noodle House). I ordered a sea food stall for dinner. Seabass, fish head made into tofu and fish head soup, fish body braised in braise, plus a side of water spinach, three dishes cost 210 yuan. It tastes good, the fish is very fresh, and the price is fairly reasonable, not as sinister as the legend says.

Since it was almost three o'clock when we arrived at Miaozi Lake, and it was raining again, there was no way to go around the island. So I walked around on several nearby roads and almost got lost, so I decisively decided to go on the third day. In the morning of my departure, I took an electric car around the island. We arrived at 8090 to pack our luggage, take a shower and rest before going out to look for food. It rained in the evening, so we enjoyed the night view nearby and visited some specialty shops selling dried fish and seafood to find out the prices. DAY2

Higashi Fukushima Island

Take the 7:30 am ferry (half an hour) to Higashi Fukushima. If you want to enjoy the sea scenery, you can go to the top deck. There are also small benches, or you can lean on the pier on the top of the ship. You won't feel dizzy, but the scenery is excellent. When you arrive at Dongfukushima, start along the path next to Haisheng Hotel on the left. You can circle the island and visit all the attractions on the island. A few minutes' walk behind Haisheng Hotel is the first ray of sunshine observation point (there is a small platform, if you want to watch the sunrise, you can rent a tent for 30 yuan), and about an hour's walk is the Dashuwan Stone House Group (prepare swimsuits You can go to the sea from here, the water is very clear, but the weather was bad when we went, so we were not allowed to go down)

An hour and a half further along the road is Elephant Trunk Peak (this section of the road is almost uphill) , walking is relatively tiring), not long after Elephant Trunk Peak is Baiyun Palace (there are Sea Dragon King, Guanyin, and Three Officials in the temple. Buddhist believers can go in to burn incense and pay homage. There is a water tank next to the temple that can be filled with spring water. ), then pass through China Guodian and follow the ring road to "Furudonghai" (the scenery is super beautiful, just a few minutes past the road along the road), take a photo at Furudonghai and then return, and you will arrive at the place where polar residents live Land, which is where we went to the island. It takes about four hours to get down around the island. You need to prepare two bottles of mineral water for the whole journey. There are two canteens on the way, one at Dashuwan Stone House Group and one at Elephant Trunk Peak. Mineral water costs 10 yuan a bottle. We took the boat back at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Since we finished circling the island before 1 o'clock, we ate snacks and took photos on the big rocks near the Hou Chuan Hall.

After returning to Miaozi Lake, I bought some specialties to take away on the third day. In the evening, I ordered a piece of Pipi shrimp (68 yuan, about 15 pieces) and a piece of wild abalone soup. , and a serving of vinegar-roasted cabbage, priced at 143 yuan per piece, which is a good deal, especially the abalone soup, which tastes very fresh. After dinner, before it got dark, I went to the shore to watch them fishing. I found a lot of small crabs in the cracks on the steps, but I couldn't catch them in the cracks. I think I can find a thinner branch to catch next time. What about crabs? DAY3

Miaozi Lake Island Roundabout

Since this is the last day of the return journey, the time schedule is relatively generous. You can sleep until eight o'clock in the morning, listen to the sound of the waves, and relax yourself. Leisurely go to Xiaolin Seafood Noodle House mentioned many times in other guides to eat a bowl of seafood noodles (25 a bowl). The seafood noodles taste good, including small yellow croaker, dried shrimps, dried shrimps, and some minced fish that we don’t recognize. After dinner, we contacted the electric car driver No. 1 who lives behind 8090 and asked him to take us around the island. Along the way, he would give us a general introduction to various scenic spots, and he would also stop for us to take photos when we reached places with beautiful scenery.

The whole journey takes about an hour and you will pass by Dongji Pavilion, then the endless shooting location, and the Statue of Liberty. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can see all the islands, including Huangxing Island, Qingbang Island, Dongfu Island, Reclining Buddha on the Sea, Salamander Island and more. There is Pipu Island, the scenery is beautiful and the view is super vast. It’s almost past ten o’clock when the island tour ends. You can go to the pier to rest and prepare to take the 11:15 ship back to Shenjiamen.
