The first live-action road blockbuster "Hitchhiking to Berlin" shot by Gu Yue and Liu Chang records that Gu Yue spent three months "hitchhiking" from Beijing to Berlin, Germany, relying only on the help of strangers. Watching My Girlfriend’s Romantic Journey received an enthusiastic response once it was aired on Travel TV. "All the Way South" records that in September 2010, Gu Yue set off again, boarded a giant container ship to cross the Pacific alone, and met documentary director Liu Chang in Alaska to start their plan to cross the Americas. They will spend more than a year starting from the Arctic Circle and heading to the southernmost tip of Argentina, completing the world's longest land crossing with the smallest carbon footprint. The first broadcast of this program is their journey from Alaska to Mexico. The remaining two-thirds of the journey will be completed in 2011 and will be broadcast on Travel TV. From Ningbo, China to the northernmost tip of the North American continent, all the way south to Mexico, this is the first part of their journey across North and South America.
