Which countries celebrate the Spring Festival?

The Spring Festival is not unique to China. Among the countries in the cultural circle of Chinese characters, Viet Nam, Indonesia, North Korea, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia are all affected by China culture, and all have legal holidays.

Neighboring countries have always been influenced by our culture. In Korea, North Korea and Vietnam, the Lunar New Year is the most important festival of the year. On August 26th, 20 18, many California officials and Chinese community members who promoted the passage of the Lunar New Year Bill held a press conference in San Francisco to celebrate the formal entry into force of the Bill. The bill does not directly designate the Lunar New Year as a public holiday, but encourages schools and educational institutions to organize activities to promote Asian cultural traditions.

On February 29th, 2020, the Cabinet Meeting of 65438+ Thailand decided to add some special legal holidays in 20021year to promote the development of domestic tourism, including the China Lunar New Year.
