What are the specialty products of Hebei tourism industry?

Hebei is surrounded by Beijing and Tianjin and along the Bohai Sea. It has obvious location and market advantages, rich tourism resources, beautiful natural scenery, numerous cultural relics and historic sites, and a collection of special resources. The tourism industry has formed a relatively complete industrial system. There are more than 600 open scenic spots in the province, including 6 5A-level scenic spots, and nearly 300 kinds of special tourist products and souvenirs. The scale of tourism is large, especially the scale of domestic tourism ranks among the top in the country (see Table 3-3 for details).

Hebei’s tourism industry has developed rapidly, and a comprehensive and supporting tourism reception service system has been formed, with the five major industries of “gold, red, blue, green and white” Featured Products. "Gold" refers to Chengde Summer Resort and the Eight Outer Temples, Eastern Qing Tombs and Western Qing Tombs and other royal sites; "Red" refers to revolutionary holy places such as Xibaipo; "Blue" refers to the seaside islands in Beidaihe, Leting and other places; "Green" refers to Bashang forest grassland, Taihang Yanshan and other natural ecology; "white" refers to the ice and snow tourism in Zhangjiakou, Chengde and other places.
