Brief introduction of School of Economics and Management, Beihua University

School of Economics and Management of Beihua University was established on February 5th, 1999+65438, located in the east campus of Beihua University. At present, it has 2 1 1 full-time students and 0/04 faculty members, making it the largest college in the school. The college focuses on undergraduate teaching, and its disciplines cover management and economics. It has five departments, seven undergraduate majors and a central laboratory. The five departments are: Department of Business Administration, Department of Financial Management, Department of Tourism Management, Department of Public Administration and Department of International Economics and Trade. The seven undergraduate majors are: business administration, marketing, logistics management, tourism management, accounting, administration, international economy and trade; The comprehensive laboratory includes: management information system training room, statistical forecasting and decision-making training room, financial simulation training room, e-commerce training room and accounting simulation laboratory. The scale of comprehensive laboratory is gradually expanding. At present, the laboratory covers an area of 662 square meters, with 379 experimental equipment and 10 advanced teaching software, providing various experiments and training for 9 courses including financial accounting. In order to make up for the shortage of off-campus practice places for some majors, the college cooperated with UFIDA Software Company to introduce ERP sand table simulation system one after another to realize simulation experiment teaching. Through ERP sand table confrontation, students' professional knowledge such as enterprise strategic management, marketing, financial management, accounting, production and operation management can be integrated and applied to practical work. In 2007, the students of our college participated in the national ERP sandbox simulation competition for college students on behalf of Jilin Province, and achieved excellent results.
