Introduction of tourist attractions in Sanmen County

Famous scenic spots: Shepan Island, Muyu Beach, Tingbian Uprising Memorial Hall, etc.

1. Shepan Island is the second largest island in Taizhou. Since the Song Dynasty, due to long-term quarrying, the island has left more than 1300 strange caves with different shapes, so it is called "Thousand Cave Island". The climate on the island is pleasant, especially in midsummer, when the sea breeze blows gently, the chill bursts, and the common dust disappears. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has been a tourist summer resort, and in the 1930s, it was the shooting place of the film "Yu".

2. Muyutan, 40km away from Sanmen County, is located in the south of Jiantiao Port. Muyutan faces Sanmen Bay, with its back to Paoshan. On both sides, there is the Maoshan headland of Muyu Shankou. The beach is crescent-shaped, over 300 meters long and hundreds of meters deep.

3. Tingpang Uprising Memorial Hall, 1982.
