Two girls went to Huashan together on their own. What suggestions do you have? Mainly because I couldn’t find a guide to get from Chongqing to Huashan? Friends who have been to Huashan recently...
I went there in August this year. I hope it will be useful to you if I share my experience.
1 If you don’t travel to Xi’an, you can take the direct train from Chongqing to Huashan. There are two buses, k690 and k820 (it’s best to take this bus to arrive after 8 a.m.). When we arrived at Huashan Station, there were many buses soliciting passengers. The three of us took a ride to Yuquanyuan for 20 yuan (there are many things going up the mountain, so we usually go this way, but it is farther away, but it is easier to walk. There is a ropeway on the other way to go directly to the North Peak. You can also climb it, but it is not easy to climb. )
2 Backpack, gloves, flashlight, water (if you don’t want to buy expensive water on the mountain, you need to bring enough, I brought 5 bottles which is just enough) bread, mustard, chocolate...trauma medicine, cold medicine, Diarrhea medicine; if you decide to stay, you don’t need to bring any clothes, but if you want to sleep out, you must wear thick clothes
3 Currently, tickets are divided into low and peak seasons. Off-season: December 1st - the end of February of the following year, 100 yuan/person Outside this time, the price is 180 yuan/person during peak season. Tickets are valid for 2 days. Ticket tour scope: Huashan Main Peak Area Scenic Area, Yuquanyuan Scenic Area, Xianyu Scenic Area, Xiyue Temple Scenic Area. Student tickets are 100 yuan in peak season and 90 yuan in off-season. The ropeway costs 80 yuan for one way and 150 yuan for round trip. The two attractions, Changkong Plank Road and Kitesuran, now require you to wear a safety rope before going down. Each attraction costs 30 yuan per person.
4 We didn’t stay at the accommodation at the time, and there were several prices offered by tourists on the road: carrying a tent up to Beifeng, 80 yuan for a double; 1,200 yuan for a double room near the east peak; 1,000 yuan for a single room near the east peak (mixed male and female accommodation, 10 yuan) One person per room) 120 yuan; a shop near the west peak costs 60 yuan to 100 yuan; renting a tent near the east peak costs about 300 yuan; renting a coat at the east peak costs 40 yuan a piece
5 Hiking route; foot of Huashan → (7 minutes ) Yuquanyuan → (15 minutes) Huashan Archway → (5 minutes) Wulong Bridge (ticket office) → (30 minutes) Yushi → (20 minutes) Wuliguan → (15 minutes) Shimen → (25 minutes) Mao Nu Cave (15 minutes) → Cloud Gate → (10 minutes) Huixin Stone → (10 minutes) Thousand-foot Building → (15 minutes) Baichi Gorge → (25 minutes) Otolith → (5 minutes) Ladder to Heaven → (5 minutes ) Yudao (Canglong Ridge) → (25 minutes) Jinsuoguan → (8 minutes) Wuyun Peak → (15 minutes) Yingyang Cave → (5 minutes) Chaoyang Peak (East Peak) → (35 minutes) Nantianmen → (25 minutes) Yangtianchi → (35 minutes) West Peak → (12 minutes) Middle Peak → (18 minutes) → Canglong Ridge → (25 minutes) Hozen Chou → (5 minutes) North Peak → (2 minutes) Ropeway → (4 minutes ) at the foot of the mountain. Generally speaking, it is the above situation, but it depends on the weather and physical strength. We set off at about 1 noon, rested and ate while walking until we reached Dongfeng (watching the sunrise) at about 7 p.m. The next day we watched the sunrise and then went to the South Peak, West Peak, Center Peak and then down the mountain. To get to the North Peak, you can take the road from Yuquanyuan or you can take the road to outwit Huashan (you have to take the road to outwit Huashan when you get to the mountain gate. The only way to get to the foot of the mountain is by public transportation, which costs 20 yuan per person)
6 I didn’t go to the Xianyu Scenic Area and Xiyue Temple Scenic Area at the back because I didn’t have enough energy.
7 You must have perseverance, persistence is victory. Personally, I think it is more difficult to climb before the North Peak, but it is relatively better afterward
