How to write tour guide words and examples

Tour guide words are the explanations of tour guides, and different tour guides write different tour guide words for the same scenic spot. However, this does not mean that you can write tour guide words at will. In fact, writing tour guide words still makes sense, and the basic model we should follow.

1. Structure of tour guide words:

Tour guide words consist of four parts: title, preface, overview of tourist attractions and ending.

(1) Title (e.g. Guide to the Summer Palace)

(2) Preface

In the preface, it is generally written that tour guides greet, welcome and introduce themselves before accompanying tourists on a tour, which is essentially a beginning.

(3) Overview of tourist attractions

Overview of tourist attractions, this part mainly expounds the overview of the landscape and its tourism value to tourists, and gives a general introduction to the tour content.

For example, a passage in the overview of the Forbidden City:

This general introduction introduces the general situation of the Forbidden City, the origin of its name, the area it covers, the number of palaces, pavilions and its buildings. This general introduction makes visitors not only have a basic understanding of the Forbidden City before going out, but also deeply feel the importance of visiting.

(4) Precautions

For example, things to bring, safety and other matters.
