You don't know red beach

For the first time, I saw the travel information of Red Beach in a travel WeChat group. I'm confused. Red beach? Is there a red beach?

Last November holiday, I went to Red Beach with a tour group.

Red Beach is located in Zhaoquanhe Town, Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, northeast of Bohai Bay. Red Beach is a tidal flat, where organic and inorganic substances brought from the upper reaches of Liaohe River form a mixture of salt and light, and a large number of substances are deposited here, forming a tidal flat. The beach containing sedimentary organic matter is especially suitable for the growth of halophyte Suaeda salsa. The red of red beach is the color of Suaeda salsa. She grows on the ground in April every year. It is light red at first, gradually darkens, and turns from red to purple in September. It doesn't need to be sown or cultivated. It is clustered and bitter, and it lives and dies year after year in saline-alkali brine stains. Interestingly, the red beach is alive, and the beach extends into the sea at a speed of 50 meters per year. New beaches are constantly appearing, and old beaches are covered with Suaeda salsa.

Entering the Red Beach Scenic Area, the first feeling is the vastness of the plain. Looking at it as far as the eye can see, it is in sharp contrast with the mountain city where I live. The second feeling is that the geology here is active, there are many underground hot springs, the tap water in the bathroom of the scenic spot is hot water, and there are drilling rigs in Liaohe Oilfield nearby.

There is a wooden plank road on the red beach, and tourists can visit along it. Suaeda salsa is the only plant on the beach, and unknown birds such as red-crowned cranes and black-billed gulls fly over the red beach. There are many small crabs living on the beach. Looking down, the bubbling place is the home of the little crab. Fishing rods are rented on the way, and tourists catch crabs here. Crabs are very small, only the size of table tennis. How I hope that the scenic spots will not rent fishing rods, nor let tourists bring their own fishing rods, so that small animals can live in peace with us.

I arrived here at about 9: 30 in the morning, and the tide had ebbed. It is said that looking at the red beach at the beginning of low tide, Suaeda salsa is exposed bit by bit, which is very spectacular. It would be a pity to miss it. Therefore, it is recommended that friends do their homework before going out, especially when traveling to the seaside. The time from the first day to the fifteenth day is different, and the tidal range is also different. See the most beautiful scenery at the right time, trip worthwhile.
