Youth hostels of youth hostels in China

In order to further develop the international youth tourism market and attract more foreign young people to travel, study and exchange in China, in the summer of 1998, the Guangdong Provincial Tourism Bureau took the lead in introducing the concept of youth hostels into China and established it in Guangdong.
