China’s latest visa policy in 2021 requires the collection of applicants’ fingerprints
Recently, Chinese embassies in various countries have issued the latest visa requirements. Passengers applying for a Chinese visa need to collect ten additional fingerprints. Australia
From February 8, 2021, fingerprints will be collected from Chinese visa applicants.
1. In accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Australia and the Australian Chinese Visa Application Service Center will collect fingerprints from Chinese visa applicants starting from February 8, 2021.
2. The following persons are exempt from mining:
(1) Applicants who are under 14 years old or over 70 years old;
(2) Holding diplomatic passport or qualifying Personnel who are subject to diplomatic, official or courtesy visa approval in China;
(Applicants for the same passport who have had their fingerprints collected at Chinese embassies, consulates or visa application centers abroad and obtained a visa within 35 years;

The Chinese Embassy in New Zealand (Cook Islands, Niue) issued an important notice on January 29, 2021, and will start collecting fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants on February 6, 2021. A small number of people are exempted.
From February 6, 2021, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in New Zealand will collect fingerprints from Chinese visa applicants.
1. Applicants must go to the consular area in person. The embassy or consulate collects biometric information. If fingerprints are forged or someone else impersonates the applicant, the applicant may be refused entry, and all consequences arising therefrom will be borne by the applicant.
2. Fingerprints:
(Persons under 114 years old or over 70 years old;
