What are the tourist attractions in Peking University?

Peking University (hereinafter referred to as Peking University), formerly known as yenching university, was founded in 1898. It is the first national university in China in modern times, the highest institution recognized by China, and one of the most important universities in Asia and even the world. In the modern history of China, Peking University was the central birthplace of China's "New Culture Movement" and "May 4th Movement", and also the earliest place where China's various political thoughts and social ideals spread. Known as the "political barometer of China", it enjoys a high reputation and an important position. There are many scenic spots on the campus of Peking University, including the West Gate of Peking University, Yuan Shao, Gong Beilou, Art Museum, Red Mansion and its buildings, Jingchun Garden, Longrun Garden, Zhifuxuan, Decaijun North House, Weiming Lake, Shanying Society, Boya Building, Linhuxuan, Peking University English Corner, Jingyuan Lawn, Sixth Hospital, Library, Teaching Building, May 4th Street, Centennial Lecture Hall, etc. Among them, the most well-known is the unnamed lake (see Figure 2- 1), which has not only its inherent beauty, but also condensed into a symbol with cultural significance and became the symbol and soul of Peking University.
