The exhibition garden, also known as Daming Palace and Jinling No.1 Garden, was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. This was once the palace of Xu Da, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty. Historical background

Zhanyuan Garden is the oldest existing garden in Nanjing with a history of more than 600 years. The whole garden layout is elegant and exquisite, including ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties, Taihu Stone in Northern Song Dynasty, and quiet pavilions, pavilions, terraces and rockeries. During his tour in Longnan, he visited this place twice, and borrowed Ouyang Xiu's poem "Looking at the Jade Hall, Like the Sky" to name the garden, and personally wrote the plaque "Looking at the Garden". During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, both East Wang Yang and West Wang Xiaoyou were yamen.

The exhibition garden is divided into east and west parts. The gate (south gate) is in the east half, and the big plaque of "Jinling One Garden" is hung on the gate. In the middle of the entrance is a bust bronze statue of Hong Xiuquan. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum is the main visiting point of the East Exhibition Garden, displaying the heavenly father's imperial edict, heavenly king's robe, loyal monarch's golden crown, flags, swords, stone troughs and other cultural relics.

From 0 10 to 10 10, you can reach the West Station Garden via Shui Yuan, which is a typical garden in the south of the Yangtze River. The ancient buildings in the park include Wangting, Hualan Hall, Zhishuangxuan, Cui Xuanying, cloister, etc. These buildings and corridors divide the West Station Garden into five small courtyards and a main garden, and rockery is the main landscape and trunk of the whole garden. There is a rockery in the south, north and west, which is wonderful.

The central part of the main garden is Miao Jing Hall, surrounded by water on three sides and land on one side. There is a stone tablet with the word "tiger" written on the right wall at the entrance of Yutang, which is a treasure of the town house. It is said that Zhu Yuanzhang gave it to General Xu Da, just like a tiger standing at its end, whizzing through the sky. If you think about it carefully, you can see the word "rich in the world", which can be described as "the first tiger in the world"

Another wonder of Zhanyuan, the Copper Pavilion (namely Fan Pavilion), is the earliest heating equipment in the world (equivalent to an air-conditioned building). In addition, there are two Taihu stones in the garden, and the immortal peak is colorful in the garden behind the south gate. Yunfeng stands out from the crowd, leaning against the osmanthus tree in the southeast corner of Hualantang.
