Yangjiao Village Yangjiao Village
Thanks to the warm hospitality, I spent the evening of May 3rd in their home in Nijmegen. Nijmegen is a typical Dutch town with few tall buildings. All communities are villas with a long history.
Arnold likes the gadgets we gave him very much. Liu Guan and Zhang Zhuge Liang play mahjong, which they bought from Taobao.
Originally, I wanted to brag about popularizing the Three Kingdoms and the profound mahjong culture. I didn't expect him to be an expert in China. He stayed in Chengdu for two years before he met Wanwan, and he was deeply obsessed with Sichuan cuisine and mahjong.
After dinner, Arnold took us to a nearby bar, which is the most famous beer bar in Holland.
There are hundreds of beers in the crowded room, ranging from the lowest 4 degrees to the highest 13 degrees, with diverse tastes, and even each wine has its own unique glass to match! Dai Xiansen seems to have entered heaven, with a dreamy expression on his face all night.
Unique beer mug.
I don't know if it's because I drank too much. The next day we all slept very late and arrived at Yangjiao Village at noon. This is a village in the north of the Netherlands, about 5 kilometers away from Steenwijk. It has the reputation of "Venice in the North" and "Venice in the Netherlands".
Although I had seen many photos before I came, I was deeply shocked when I first saw Yangjiao Village. She satisfied all my fantasies, and I didn't even dare to speak loudly for fear of ruining the peace of this moment. Different from Barcelona's passion, Switzerland's beauty and grandeur, Paris's romance and Venice's masquerade, she painted a fairy tale world in my heart with that touch of quiet green.
We rented a boat at the entrance of the village and sailed for the village. The motor started, and it was a bit awkward to control the direction in the narrow river at first, but it was very interesting after driving for a while. It is not interesting to sit on the boat and watch the scenery on both sides of the river bank under the sun and through the shadow under the bridge.
Go boating in the river and enjoy the leisure time at the moment. There are many cruise ships in the river, and occasionally there are "traffic jams" in narrow places, but everyone smiles at each other and stops to wait. No one spoke loudly, even the children were quiet, as if afraid of disturbing the peace of the village.
Arnold told us the origin of the name "Yangjiao Village". Because of the rich peat resources here, a group of coal miners once settled here. In addition to coal, they also dug many "horns" underground. It is confirmed by identification that these horns should be a group of wild goats living near 1 170. Therefore, they called it Yangjiao Village, and this name has been preserved to this day.
The roofs of every household are made of reeds, which have been used for at least 40 years. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, and it is rain-proof and sun-proof. It is said that reed used to be a substitute for bricks and tiles that the poor could not afford, but now reed is a building material that the rich can afford, and its price is dozens of times that of bricks and tiles. The land price here has already gone up, so most residents are doctors, lawyers and other high-income occupations, which seems to form a contrast between time and space.
As the boat glides, the beautiful courtyards, small wooden bridges, colorful trees and beautiful reflections on the waterways on both sides of the river bank are all like movies. Local residents and a few tourists sit quietly in the cafe on the shore, only the sound of wild ducks occasionally breaks the peace here.
At that moment, I drove out of the village river and came to a wide lake, bypassing the reeds.
How to describe the shock at that moment? That is, juvenile Pi! The lake is open, and the low clouds are reflected on the lake, and there is no one there. We are floating on the water in a red boat. The whole person will be a teenager Pi immediately!
It's getting dark, and the most beautiful light and shadow of the day gradually overflows the rivers, plants and houses, holding the dreamy light gold. Everything is so unreal, like a dream in a fairy tale, deposited in the river and unwilling to wake up. Every household is lit up, and every window in every building is like a carefully designed work of art.
Under the cover of night, the river slowly returned to calm, and the water reflected another world.
Walking hand in hand on the country road, looking at the fairy tale world of light and shadow in front of me, looking up is the star that is about to fall at dawn, and my heart is full of happiness.
I think this is what Cinderella saw when she got on the pumpkin cart and ran to the prince's ball.
All the magical scenes in front of this day are still dreamy and incredible when I think about it now.
What fascinates me most in my journey should be these shocking or moving moments. These moments may not be captured by photos or expressed in words. However, although time flies, my feelings have always been in my heart.
On your chest
I became a singing iris.
The breeze you breathe blows me.
In the tinkling moonlight
Use your broad palm.
contingently
Cover me.
