What impressed you during your trip?

An unforgettable thing happened in Namtso, Tibet: a group of strangers from all corners of the country got together and talked about everything just because of a small thing in one place.

On the night when we arrived in Namtso, the seven of us were basically in a daze after arriving at the hotel because we were too tired by car and the temperature was too low at night. When we entered the room, we just lay down and rested. I am no exception. That night was the most uncomfortable one for me in Tibet for so many days. Like my friends, I lay down as soon as I got to the hotel, but I couldn't sleep at all.

Lying down, I didn't know why, and an idea came to my mind. Since I can't sleep, why not go out for a wave? To shoot the stars or something? All right! Say go and go! My friends told me not to go, and I was in trouble if I fell, but I ignored them, probably because I was young and energetic, thinking that it would not be so easy to have an accident. Go out with equipment, lift the hotel's military coat, squat down to the lake and start shooting stars.

At that time, it was probably after 10 in the evening. At first, there were only a few people behind the empty lake, and I took pictures there alone. Although I am a photographer (wedding photographer), I am inexperienced in shooting the starry sky for the first time. I haven't taken many satisfactory photos for a long time.

The next step is the point. As I said just now, there were only a few people by the lake, but around eleven o'clock, many people came one after another, including old people, children and couples. They also came to the lake to see the starry sky. Probably saw that I had a camera here and thought I was shooting a big movie. Several people got together to watch this. I took photos, but there was nothing.

Several people gathered around me like this, watching me take pictures, and then everyone asked me a few questions about how to take pictures of the starry sky (I talked nonsense to answer), and the atmosphere gradually became lively, so I stopped taking pictures of the starry sky. We talked and laughed, introduced ourselves, talked about experiences, careers, ideals, shared customs and so on. We talked for three hours until two in the morning.

Finally, because it was too cold, they went back to their homestays, took out the big quilt in the homestay, covered it on the ground and continued to lie and watch the starry sky chat. A group of friends who don't know from all corners of the country get together to talk about things just because of a little thing in a place. It's really rare to encounter such a thing on a trip, and it's still under such a magnificent starry sky. Seriously, I will never forget it.
