Tourism policies and regulations

At present, the tourism laws and regulations that have been formulated in China mainly include:

1. detailed rules for the implementation of the regulations on the administration of travel agencies

In order to implement the Regulations on the Administration of Travel Agencies promulgated by the State Council, the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Travel Agencies are formulated. The implementation rules are divided into eleven chapters, mainly including the conditions for the establishment of travel agencies, the application and approval of travel agencies, the operating rules of tourism business, the management of branches, the protection of tourists' rights and interests, and the supervision and inspection of travel agencies.

2. Provisional Regulations on the Administration of Scenic Spots

The Provisional Regulations on the Administration of Scenic Spots (1985) was issued in the State Council on June 7, with article *** 17. It aims to strengthen the management of scenic spots and better protect, utilize and develop scenic resources.

3. Measures for the administration of tourism safety

It has been considered and passed at the meeting of the Director of National Tourism Administration 1 1 on September 7, 20/6, and is hereby promulgated and shall come into force as of February 6, 20/KLOC-0. According to the relevant laws and regulations, these measures are formulated mainly to strengthen the management of tourism safety and ensure the personal and property safety of tourists.

The Interim Provisions on the Quality Margin of Travel Agency is to strengthen the supervision and management of the service quality of travel agencies, protect the legitimate rights and interests of tourists, ensure the standardized operation of travel agencies and safeguard the reputation of China's tourism industry. According to the operating characteristics of travel agencies and referring to international practice, with the approval of the State Council, the quality guarantee system is implemented for travel agencies.
