"Ten Famous Mountains in China"? What is the altitude of each mountain?

Ten most beautiful mountains in China:

1, Nanga Bawa Peak (Tibet)

2. Gongga Mountain (Sichuan)

3. Mount Everest (Tibet)

4. Meili Snow Mountain (Yunnan)

5. Huangshan (Anhui)

6. Sanshen Mountain in Daocheng (Sichuan)

7. Chogory Peak (Xinjiang)

8. Gangrenbo Qi Feng (Tibet)

9. Mount Tai (Shandong)

10, Mount Emei (Sichuan) Nangarbawa is the highest peak at the eastern end of the Himalayas, with an altitude of 7756 meters. The height ranks 15 among the highest peaks in the world, which is the highest among the 7000m-class peaks. The huge triangular peak is covered with snow all year round, and it is difficult to see its true content.

Nanga Bawa Peak is also called Namtso Baer Mountain, which means "a stone falling from the sky" in Tibetan and is called "the father of thousands of mountains". On the south side of the Yarlung Zangbo River bend is the boundary mountain of Linzhi, Medog and Milin, at the junction of Himalayas and Nyainqentanglha Mountain.

The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, where Nanfeng is located, has complex geological structure and strong plate tectonic movement, which makes the mountain walls in Nanfeng area stand tall, and earthquakes and avalanches continue, making it extremely difficult to climb. On the contrary, Nanga Bawa has been the highest "Mount Everest" that humans have not climbed for a long time, until19921kloc-0/0/October 30th, when the Japanese joint mountaineering team successfully climbed to the top. In Tibetan, Nangarbawa has many explanations, one is "lightning burns like fire", the other is "spear that pierces the sky", and the latter name comes from "Menling World War I" in the Biography of King Gesar, in which Nangarbawa is described as "spear that pierces the sky". From these masculine names, we can probably figure out the fortitude and unconquerability of Nanga Bawa Peak.

Nanga Bawa Peak is full of magical legends, because its main peak soars into the sky. According to local legends, the gods in the sky often come here to party and simmer mulberry. The flag cloud caused by the high-altitude wind is the mulberry smoke lit by the gods. It is said that there are temples and roads leading to heaven on the top of the mountain, so people living in the canyon area have great admiration and awe for this steep mountain.

There is another well-known legend about Nange Baba. According to legend, a long time ago, God sent Nangarbawa and Laga Leibo to guard the southeast. My younger brother Garabaire is diligent and studious, and he is getting taller and taller. My brother Nangarbawa is very jealous. So he killed his brother in the dark wind for a month, lost his head in Millin County and became Mount Della. God punished Nangarbawa for his sins, so he was punished to stay by the Yarlung Zangbo River forever and accompany his murdered brother forever. This fairy tale vividly illustrates the characteristics of these two mountains: the Garabale peak we see now is always round, because it is a headless mountain; Nangarbawa probably knows that he is guilty, so it is shrouded in clouds all the year round and does not allow outsiders to get close.

Gongga Mountain is located in Luding, Kangding and Jiulong counties of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, with Gongga Mountain as the center and consisting of Hailuogou, Mugecuo, Wuxuhai and south slope of Gongga, with an area of 1 10,000 square kilometers, which is a national-level scenic spot. Gongga Mountain area is a minority area, where there are Tibetan Buddhist temples such as Gongga Temple and Tagong Temple. Visitors can enjoy the colorful ethnic customs of Tibetans and Yi people.

Gongga Mountain is one of the important scenic spots that constitute Gongga Mountain Scenic Area. It is about 200 kilometers long from north to south and covers an area of 1 1,000 square kilometers. The main peak is 7556 meters above sea level, which is the ll peak in the world and the highest peak in Sichuan Province, and is known as the "king of mountains" in Sichuan. The main peak and the sister peak are all wrapped in silver all year round, surrounded by the 145 ice peak with an altitude of five or six kilometers. The peaks are towering, connected with snow-capped mountains, and the weather is myriad.

In Tibetan, "Gong" means ice and snow, "Ga" means white, and it is a "white iceberg". Gongga Mountain is famous for its glaciers. There are 159 modern glaciers at the foot of the mountain, covering an area of more than 390 square kilometers. It is one of the earliest marine glaciers in the world. Among them, Hailuogou No.1 Glacier, Gongba Glacier, Wang Ba Glacier, Yanzigou Glacier and Mizigou Glacier are famous, and the ice thickness is 150-300m, which is very spectacular. Due to the erosion of glaciers, the steep mountain peaks have become pyramids, towering into the sky and soaring into the sky.

The terrain of Gongga Mountain is very different. From bottom to top, it is located in seven climatic zones: subtropical zone, warm temperate zone, cold temperate zone, sub-cold zone, cold zone and ice and snow zone. The specific geographical environment and special climatic conditions have formed a multi-level three-dimensional plant belt and a unique natural landscape. The peaks above 5000 meters above sea level are covered with snow all year round; The low-altitude uninhabited foothills are densely forested and lush, and the ecological environment is primitive. The forest is less affected by human activities and the vegetation is complete. There are almost all kinds of plants that can survive from subtropical zone to alpine zone, and there are many kinds of rare plants, including more than 4880 kinds, which are more than 400 kinds of rare species under national key protection. There are still many ancient animals and plants called "living fossils" left in the eastern valley area. There are more than 400 kinds of wild animals and 28 rare and protected animals living here, which is the world wildlife grand view garden.

Iceberg lakes are scattered everywhere, and there are more than 10 plateau lakes in the scenic spot. The famous ones are Mugecuo, Wuxuhai, Ren Zhonghai and Bawanghai. , or at the foot of a glacier or surrounded by forests. The water color is clear and transparent, maintaining the original and beautiful natural features, just like "Yaochi Wonderland".

Mount Qomolangma is the main peak of the Himalayas, with an altitude of 8848 meters and the highest peak on the earth, located at 86.9 east longitude and 27.9 north latitude. Located in the eastern section of the China-Nepal border, the north slope is in Ding Yue County, Xizang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China (PRC), and the south slope is in the Kingdom of Nepal. In Tibetan, it is called "Mount Qomolangma" [it is called "Mount Qomolangma Alin" in the Imperial Map compiled in the fifty-sixth year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (A.D. 17 17)], which means "Goddess".

Mount Everest is in the shape of a huge pyramid. It is magnificent, with extremely steep terrain and extremely complicated environment. Snow line height: 5800-6200m on the north slope and 5500-6 100m on the south slope. There are three steep walls (north wall, east wall and southwest wall) between the northeast ridge, southeast ridge and Xishan ridge, and 548 continental glaciers are distributed between these ridges and cliffs, with a total area of 1 457.07 square kilometers and an average thickness of 7260 meters. The replenishment of glaciers is mainly formed by the snow metamorphism in the two major precipitation zones of the Indian Ocean monsoon belt. There are various, magnificent and rare ice towers on the glacier, ice cliffs as high as tens of meters, light and dark ice cracks that sink step by step, and dangerous ice collapses and avalanches.

Mount Everest is not only magnificent, but also magnificent. There are many peaks and mountains within 20 kilometers around it. There are more than 40 peaks above 7000 meters above sea level. The famous ones are Luozi Peak (8463 meters above sea level, the fourth highest peak in the world) and Zhuoqiong Peak (7589 meters above sea level), Makaru Peak in the southeast (8463 meters above sea level, the fifth highest peak in the world), Zhang Zifeng in the north (7543 meters above sea level) and Nuzi Peak in the west (7855 meters above sea level). On the periphery of these giant peaks, there are some world-class peaks: in the southeast, there is Jiafeng, the third highest peak in the world (8585 meters above sea level, the boundary peak between Nepal and Sikkim); In the west, there are Feng Kang at an altitude of 7998m, Zhuooyou Peak at an altitude of 820 1 m and Xixiabangma Peak at an altitude of 8012m. Formed a magnificent scene of peaks coming to the DPRK and surging peaks.

The fourth place is Meili Snow Mountain, which is located between the Nujiang River and Lancang River in the middle section of Hengduan Mountain, about 0/0 km to the east of Deqin County. It is connected to Adoni Mountain in Tibet in the north and Robbie Snow Mountain in the south. There are 13 peaks with an average elevation of more than 6000 meters, which are called "Prince Thirteen Peaks". It is a sacred mountain in the hearts of the Tibetan people in Kangba. The main peak, Kage Peak, is as high as 6740 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Yunnan. Prince Snow Mountain is famous for its majestic and mysterious scenery. As early as 1930s, American scholars praised Mount Kagebo as "the most beautiful mountain in the world". The Chinese and Japanese mountaineering teams climbed to the top three times in a row, but failed to do so. Under the Kage peak, ice buckets and glaciers are continuous, like jade dragons stretching, and the ice and snow are dazzling, which is a rare modern marine glacier in the world. Qudenggong Temple and Imadin Temple at the foot of the mountain are temples where Tibetans worship the holy mountain. Local Tibetans regard it as a "sacred mountain". Every year, Tibetans from Yunnan, Tibet, Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu and other places come to worship, which is rich in Tibetan customs and is a tourist destination for people to explore.

Meili Snow Mountain is the most spectacular snow-capped mountain group in Yunnan, with snow peaks stretching for hundreds of miles, accounting for 34.5% of the area of Deqin County. The thirteen peaks of Prince Edward Island at an altitude of more than 6000 meters have their own characteristics and are closely connected. Kavalpo, the main peak, is 6740 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Yunnan. The Tibetan people in Diqing left traces of generations' existence at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain, and also endowed it with profound cultural implications. Take a bus from Zhongdian, the state capital, to Deqin County, and then a few kilometers to the east, and you will arrive at Feilai Temple. At this time, as the main snow bee in Meili Snow Mountain, Prince Edward's thirteen bees are displayed in the field of vision. If it happens to be sunny, the clear blue sky in Qingyuan sets off the noble and magnificent snow peaks, and the white edge of kawakarpo points directly at Cang Gong. The left and right arrangement of snow peaks seems to be restricted by it, and it seems to be an inseparable whole under its friction.

Meili Snow Mountain has not only thirteen bees of Prince, but also various snow scenes unique to the Snow Mountain. Glaciers and moraines are everywhere under Erpo, Cavaca, among which Mingyongcha Glacier is the most spectacular. This glacier extends from 5500 meters above sea level to 2700 meters above sea level, with a length of 8 kilometers, a width of more than 500 meters and an area of 73.5 square kilometers. This glacier is known as one of the few modern glaciers with low latitude and high altitude monsoon in the world.

-Fifth place "Huangshan"

Huangshan Mountain stands in the south of Anhui Province, China, separated by a wall by Yi, Yi, Taiping and Xiuning counties. Fiona Fang is 250 square kilometers, the essence of which is 154 square kilometers. Huangshan Mountain, formerly known as Zhishan Mountain, was renamed in the sixth year of Tang Tianbao (AD 747) because it is said that Emperor Xuanyuan once made an alchemy here. Huangshan Mountain is not only famous for its beautiful scenery, but also a national-level scenic spot with rich resources, ecological integrity and important scientific and ecological environmental value. It belongs to the world cultural and natural heritage and has been included in the World Heritage List. Huangshan Mountain has now become a representative of the famous mountains in China, and it is known as "the five mountains return without looking at the mountains, and Huangshan Mountain returns without looking at the mountains" and "the first wonder mountain in the world". It is also known as one of the symbols of the Chinese nation with the Yangtze River, the Great Wall and the Yellow River.

Huangshan is a mountainous structure, and is known as the "Four Wonders of Huangshan" with "strange pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds and hot springs". The magical winter scenery and magnificent days make tourists linger. There are thirty-six peaks and thirty-six small peaks in the mountain. They are either vigorous or handsome, and their layout is patchy and natural. Lotus Peak, Guangmingding Peak and Tiandu Peak are the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain, all of which are above 1800 meters above sea level, and spread around around with the three main peaks as the center, falling into deep valleys and rising into peak cliffs, showing a typical peak forest landform. "The strange rocks on the peaks are even more strange, and the clouds fly to the mountains." The Huangshan pine in the mountains and plains is born of gravel, standing on the steep cliff, or tall and straight, or graceful, showing tenacious vitality. Huangshan Mountain is always loose, and the strange Gu Song is hard to count. The most famous ones are welcome pine, Wolong pine, sea exploration pine, black tiger pine and so on. For many years, they resisted wind and rain, sharpened swords and skates, absorbed some water and nutrition from rocks, and stood firmly on the cliffs facing the sun. And Huang Shanyun flows between thousands of peaks and valleys, or becomes a sea of clouds, boundless, or colorful and magnificent with sunrise and sunset.

Sixth place "Daocheng Sanshen Mountain"

Daocheng Sanshen Mountain, namely Aden Scenic Area, is located in Riwa Township, Daocheng County, south of Ganzi Prefecture, with an altitude of 2,900 meters (Gongga Estuary) to 6,032 meters (Xiannai Rifeng) and an area of 56,000 hectares. The scenic spot is centered on three snow peaks, namely, Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong and Sanaodji, which are distributed from north to south. Due to the special geographical environment and natural climate, it has formed a unique landform and natural landscape, which is the most intact natural ecosystem in China.

The three snow-capped mountains, Xiannairi (Tibetan avalokitesvara), Yangmaiyong (Tibetan Manjusri Bodhisattva) and Shanado Ji (Tibetan Vajrayana), are not far apart, and they all rise from the ground to form a triangle. Tibetan Buddhism is called "Risong Gongbu", which means three mountains. The northern peak of Xiannai Ri is 6032 meters above sea level, the Yongnan peak of Yangmai is 5958 meters above sea level, and the Jidong peak of Shanado is 5958 meters above sea level. The peaks of the three snow-capped mountains are all white and spotless. There is a vast forest on the mountainside, with Quanfei Waterfall in it, and a wide valley at the foot of the mountain twists and turns, inlaid with a mirror-like lake. Snow peaks, glaciers, forests, streams, waterfalls, meadows and lakes are organically combined, and wild animals haunt them, showing a quiet pure land.

The three sacred mountains are very famous in Tibetan areas, and the sacred mountains and the sacred lakes are integrated. In addition to the magnificent natural scenery, there is also a mysterious religious culture. It is a holy place in Tibetan areas, with an endless stream of pilgrims.

Known as the "Flash Mountain", Chushan Scenic Area in Russia is characterized by vast virgin forests, alpine meadows, streams and canyons, with spruce, sequoia and alpine oak as the main scenery, which is very charming. In autumn, the forests in this area are all dyed, with mountains and plains, red leaves, yellow leaves and green leaves, composing a beautiful, soft and colorful autumn rhyme movement.

Luo Rong grassland is surrounded by three sacred mountains of Risong Kampot. The Gongga River passes through the grassland, and the streams in the forest are gurgling, which complement each other with the wooden houses in the pasture, forming a primitive and charming scenery and making people enter the realm of returning to nature. Here you can have a panoramic view of the three sacred mountains of Risong Kampot. Cass Canyon is long and narrow, the platform is 3800 meters above sea level and the bottom is 2900 meters above sea level. The valley is densely forested, with rugged rocks, waterfalls and deafening roar. In the valley, the clouds are shrouded and unpredictable, and the rock peaks with different shapes are looming, like a heavenly palace, like a fairy descending to earth, like a powerful and unconstrained style, which is really a spectacle.

Jogory ",Tajik, means" tall and majestic ". With an altitude of 86 1 1 m, Jogory Peak is the main peak of the Karakorum Mountains and the second highest peak in the world, also known as K2 peak abroad.

Jogory Peak is located at 76 degrees east longitude. 5 degrees 35 minutes north latitude. 9 degrees, located in the middle of Karakorum Mountain. It belongs to the side of China, in Yecheng County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Karakorum Mountain stretches for thousands of kilometers, showing northwest-southeast trend, with an altitude of more than 6000 meters. There are dense peaks in the mountain range, among which there are four world-famous peaks with a height of more than 8,000 meters: on the east side of the peak of Chagory is the Bloat, with an altitude of 805 1 m; In turn, it is Mount Gashurbloom at an altitude of 8068 meters; Gashur Bloom II, 8035 meters above sea level. There are 14 peaks over 8000 meters in the world, which accounts for nearly one third. There are more than 20 peaks above 7000 meters above sea level, of which Skyangkanli peak in the north is 7545 meters above sea level, and Spande peak in the west is 7385 meters above sea level. There is also Crown Peak below, which is 7295 meters above sea level. Therefore, it has become the second mountaineering center that the world mountaineers pay attention to. There are six ridges in Jogory Peak, and the northwest-southeast ridge is the main ridge line of Karakorum Mountain. It is also the border between China and Pakistan. Others include Beiling, Xiling and Northwest Ridge. The peaks are pyramid-shaped, the ice cliffs stand upright and the mountains are steep. The steep slope wall is covered with snow-collapsed chute marks. The top of the mountain is an ice slope rising slightly from north to south, with a large area. On the north side, the average slope is more than 45 degrees. From the base camp on the north side to the top of the mountain, the vertical height difference is as high as 4700 meters, which is the largest mountain peak with a vertical height difference of over 8000 meters in the world. The glacier on the north side is called Chogory Glacier, and the terrain is complex and changeable. Glacier surface is broken, and light and dark ice seams are staggered. The valley on the west side of the glacier is a steep rock wall, with frequent rolling stones, ice collapses and avalanches. On both sides of Chogory Peak is the 44-kilometer Insugeti Glacier.

Not only is the terrain sinister, but the climate is also very bad. From May to September every year, the southwest monsoon brings warm and humid airflow, which is transformed into rain, which is the rainy season in this area. From mid-September to mid-April of the following year, a strong westerly wind struck, bringing severe winter. The lowest temperature on the summit can reach -50 degrees, and the highest wind speed can reach more than 5 meters per second, which is a climate forbidden zone for mountaineering. From May to September, due to the rising temperature, melting snow and falling water level, the water level in the valley often rises sharply, making it difficult to enter the mountains. Therefore, the best time for mountaineering activities should be arranged from May to early June, when the river rises, but it is not too serious; From July to September, the temperature at the top of the mountain is slightly higher and the good weather lasts for a long time, which is a good time to climb to the top.

Gangrinpo Qi Feng is the main peak of the Gangdise Mountain, which means "Mountain of the Gods" in Tibetan and "Shiva's Paradise" in Sanskrit (Shiva is the Hindu god), where Boni originated. Every year, pilgrims from Indian, Nepalese, Bhutanese and China Tibetan areas come in an endless stream, which further embodies the sacred significance of this mountain. Virgin peak is still unconquered.

Gangrinboqi is a sacred mountain recognized in the world, and it is also recognized as the world center of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bonism, a local religion in Tibet, and ancient Jainism. Gangrinboqi is not the highest mountain in this area, but only its snow-covered peaks can shine strangely in the sun and attract people's attention. The distribution of the four walls of the summit is very clear and symmetrical, and it looks like a pyramid with a round crown (which Tibetans call "the handle of a stone mill"). The special mountain shape is very different from the surrounding peaks, which makes people have to be full of religious piety and wonder. Qi Feng in Gangrenbo is often surrounded by white clouds, and the locals think it is a blessing to see the summit.

Looking from the south, we can see the famous symbol of Gangrenbo Qi Feng: the swastika flag in Buddhism (the symbol of spiritual strength in Buddhism, meaning eternal Buddhism, representing auspiciousness and protection), which consists of huge ice troughs descending vertically from the peak and horizontal rock formations.

It is said that the most famous Mount Sumi in Buddhism also refers to Gangren Boqi. According to the Buddhist dictionary: Mount Sumi, the name of a mountain, is also the center of a small world. In the pre-Buddhist period, Ren Gang Qi Bo was called "Nine Days (Ten Thousand) Word Mountain", and it is said that 360 Bonism gods lived here. Dunbaxin, the founder of Boni, fell from the sky, and this mountain is where he landed. In Jainism, which arose in the 5th-6th century BC, Gangrinboqi was called "Archytas Boda", which was the highest peak and the place where Jainism founder Risabanaza was freed.

For centuries, Gangrinpoche has been a fascinating place for pilgrims and explorers, but so far, no one has been able to climb this sacred mountain or dare to invade the center of the world. Only in recent years have travelers turned their attention to this holy place, but the number is still small.

Mount Tai, located in the middle of Shandong Province, north of Tai 'an City, is the East Yue of the five mountains in China. In ancient times, the East was the place where everything alternated and early spring took place. Therefore, Mount Tai has the reputation of "the length of the five mountains" and "the exclusive respect of the five mountains". As early as the Xia and Shang dynasties, 72 kings came to Mount Tai to meet the princes, set a great position and carved stone marks. After Qin Shihuang unified China to worship Mount Tai, Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, Emperor Guangwu of Tang Dynasty, Emperor Gaozong, Emperor Xuanzong of Song Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty and Emperor Qianlong all came to Mount Tai to hold worship ceremonies. Wherever they went, they built temples and statues, carved stones and inscribed inscriptions, leaving a large number of cultural relics and historical sites for Mount Tai. Celebrities of all ages have also come here to praise more than a thousand poems of Mount Tai. Du Fu's> poem: "Once you climb to the top of the mountain, you will see that all the other mountains look short under the sky." It has become a famous sentence that has been passed down through the ages.

Mount Tai is also a holy place for Buddhism and Taoism, so temples and places of interest are all over the mountain. Therefore, Mount Tai is not only a majestic mountain, but also a famous Taoist mountain with many cultural relics and historical sites. There are four wonders on the top of the mountain: the rising sun, the sunset glow, the golden belt of the Yellow River and the jade plate of the sea of clouds. It is really a world-famous treasure house of cultural relics and a tourist attraction. By the end of 1987, the World Natural and Cultural Resources Protection Committee had listed Mount Tai on the World Heritage List.

Mount Tai Scenic Area, centered on the main peak of Mount Tai, is distributed radially and is formed by the fusion of natural landscape and human landscape. Mount Tai is a majestic mountain. Especially on the south slope, the mountain is steep, the main peak is abrupt, and the mountains are overlapping, with extraordinary momentum, which contains natural landscape characteristics such as strangeness, danger, beauty, seclusion, Austria and width. The human landscape layout focuses on Sheshou Mountain and Lihao Mountain in the southwest of Taicheng, reaching directly to Jade Emperor Peak in the sky, forming a triple space of "hell", "human" and "heaven". Dai Temple is the main building on the central axis of the mountain platform city, which is connected to Tianjie in front and Pallet Road in the back, forming a mountain city as a whole. From this, I climbed the ladder step by step and gradually got better, from "human" to "celestial fairy"

Mount Tai, the head of the Five Mountains, is the symbol of the Chinese nation, the epitome of splendid oriental culture, and the place where the idea of "harmony between man and nature" is placed. 1987 is listed in the World Natural and Cultural Heritage List. Since ancient times, Mount Tai has been regarded as a symbol of social stability, political consolidation, national prosperity and national unity. No matter who became an emperor in the past dynasties, the first important thing was to worship Mount Tai, which made Mount Tai the only famous mountain in China that was closed to Zen by the emperor. Both emperors and generals, as well as famous masters, hold Mount Tai in high esteem. Confucius' "Climbing Mount Tai and Being Small in the World" is a much-told story.
