Introduction of Nishan Scenic Spot in Qufu
Nishan Holy Land is located in Nishan Provincial Cultural Tourism Resort, 25 kilometers southeast of Qufu City, Shandong Province. Nishan is the birthplace of Confucius, a philosopher in China, and also a holy place for Confucian believers in past dynasties. According to Records of the Historian, Confucius' parents "begged Confucius in the mud mound", so Nishan is famous far and near. Confucius was named Zhong Ni because of Mount Nishan, and Mount Nishan became one of the important symbols of the source of China culture because of Confucius' "comprehensive achievement".
The overall planning area of Nishan Shengjing Resort is 35.76 square kilometers. As the core scenic spot of the resort, the first phase of Nishan Holy Land covers an area of 8 square kilometers, with the overall idea of "Confucius' world, Confucius of the world", the functional orientation of "cultural cultivation resort" and "world-class humanistic tourism destination" and the core cultural theme of "courtesy lifestyle". It is a comprehensive cultural carrier integrating cultural experience, learning enlightenment, eco-tourism, leisure and vacation, education and training.
The main attractions of Nishan Holy Land
1, Confucius statue
The 72-meter-high statue of Confucius was designed by the famous sculptor Mr. Lin of Hsien Wu. With reference to Wu Daozi's "A Picture of Confucius Learning from His Teacher" in the Tang Dynasty, it is shaped according to the image orientation of "amiable and respectable", "teacher, elder and wise man" in order to command the commanding heights of the cultural space of Nishan Holy Land. 20 15 12, the statue of Confucius was officially completed.
2. University Auditorium
The university hall is built on the mountain, and the whole hall is in the form of retreating. The wisdom of Confucianism is combined with modern architectural art, including the orderly and ritualized cultural space such as Jixian Hall, University Road, 72 Xianlang, Rentang Hall, Yitang Hall, Auditorium, Wisdom Hall, Xintang Hall and Auditorium. University Hall is a school of culture and a temple of art. Different cultural themes are expressed through China traditional art classics such as Dongyang woodcarving, Shanxi clay sculpture, Suzhou embroidery, Fuzhou lacquer painting and Jingdezhen ceramic painting.
3. Nishan College
There is Guanchuan Pavilion at the cliff on the east side in front of Nishan Academy. There is a saying in The Analects of Confucius, Zi Han, "Confucius said: The deceased is like a husband, never giving up day and night". According to legend, Confucius once observed the confluence of five rivers (Zhiyuan River, Fuzi River, Zhangma River, Muyan River and Tianhuang River) here and built a pavilion to commemorate it from the Yuan Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1336). The pavilion is a wooden frame structure, without a bucket arch, located on the top of the mountain, with gray tiles on one roof.
