What are some interesting places to travel in Dali?
1, double gallery
Shuanglang, located in the southeast of Eryuan County, on the east bank of Erhai Lake, 35 kilometers away from Xiaguan, was called Tielang in ancient times. Erhai Lake is the best natural scenery of Shuanglang Island and the main attraction of Canger Scenic Area in Dali. In the double gallery, the beautiful Yuji Island and Xiaojinsuo Island are like a pair of mandarin ducks floating in the green Erhai Lake. The two islands are located under the Liling Peak between the two corridors. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, people thought that "two islands" and "Song" were both "double", so they changed the "tied corridor" to "double corridor". The scenery of the two corridors is unique. It bears green hills, faces Erhai Lake, is close to chicken feet and overlooks Cangshan Mountain. It not only has the advantages of fishing grounds, but also has the wonders of "romantic scenery" and enjoys the reputation of "Canger Scenic Corridor". Boarding Nanzhao Island, you can even witness the wonders of 17 meter high white marble Guanyin worshipping Maitreya Buddha.
2. Dali butterfly spring
Butterfly spring is located at the foot of Cangshan Yunnong Peak, 25 kilometers away from the ancient city, 40 kilometers away from Shimonoseki and 25 kilometers north of Dali ancient city. In the hearts of Bai people, butterfly spring is a fountain symbolizing love and loyalty. Every year, young Bai men and women from all directions come here to "throw stones to try the depth of the water" and find their loved ones with songs. The blisters in butterfly spring are in cracks and sand layers, and the water quality is particularly clear. As soon as it surfaced, it gathered in a pool without any pollution. In recent years, the spring water rushing out of butterfly spring has been treasured by park managers and accumulated in three pools larger than one pool for people to watch. The largest pond is about 10 mu. Butterfly spring has changed from one pool in the past to four pools now, which is the most conspicuous landscape of butterfly spring Park.
3.Erhai Lake
Erhai Lake, once known as Ye Yuze, Kun Mi River, Xi 'an Angel River and Xi 'an Angel River in ancient literature, is located in the northwest of Dali City, Yunnan Province. It is the second largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province and the seventh largest freshwater lake in China. Erhai Lake starts from Eryuan in the north and is about 42.58 kilometers long. The only exit of Erhai Lake is near Xiaguan Town, crossing the Xige River. Cangshan Lake and Erhai Lake are interdependent. Erhai Lake is one of the four scenic spots in Dali, and the moon in Erhai Lake is here. It is said that it is named Erhai Lake because it looks like an ear. Erhai Lake is a scenic spot with excellent water quality and rich aquatic resources. Erhai Lake is a lake with large drop, clear water quality and high transparency. Since ancient times, it has been called "flawless jade in the mountains". Legend has it that a huge emerald cabbage grows on the bottom of the sea. The lake is blue, a drop of jade liquid oozing from the bottom of Chinese cabbage.
4. Dali Ancient City
Yeyu, the ancient city of Dali, is also called Zicheng. The present ancient city was built in the 15th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (AD 1382), twelve miles away from Fiona Fang. The wall is 20 feet high and 20 feet thick. There are towers in the east, west, north and south, and turrets in the four corners. In the early days of liberation, the city walls were demolished. The urban roads in Dali still maintain the checkerboard grid structure since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is called "Nine Streets and Eighteen Alleys". The two north-south towers have been renovated. From south to north, a street runs through the city, and deep streets crisscross from west to east. The whole city has clear tile roofs and cobblestone walls, which shows the simplicity and uniqueness of Dali.
