What is the difference between an individual and a team on the Hong Kong and Macau Pass?
1. The difference between individual travel and group travel in the Hong Kong and Macao Pass is that the methods and procedures for customs clearance are different.
First of all, it needs to be made clear that the Hong Kong and Macau Pass is a special document for mainland residents to go to Hong Kong and Macau. Going to Hong Kong requires a Hong Kong endorsement, and going to Macau requires a Macau endorsement. The main types of visas are group travel visa (L visa) and individual travel visa (G visa). The main similarities and differences between L visa and G visa are as follows:
1. Regardless of L visa or G visa, you can travel in a group or travel independently, which depends on personal choice. (In other words, whether you want to travel to Hong Kong in a group or travel independently, you must have a Hong Kong and Macao pass and its valid endorsement. Participating in a group tour or traveling independently has no direct relationship with the type of endorsement. This is entirely a personal decision.) < /p>
2. Those with G visa can fly directly to Hong Kong; those with L visa can only choose to exit customs in Shenzhen or Zhuhai and cannot fly directly. However, you can fly directly from Hong Kong back to mainland cities.
3. The customs clearance methods are different. When passing through various checkpoints in Shenzhen to go to Hong Kong, the G-visa pass can be passed by oneself without incurring any fees; the L-visa pass requires a travel agency in Shenzhen to make a group travel list and the tour guide will send it to you. After customs clearance, there will be a customs clearance service fee, and the travel agency needs to show the group list (customs clearance paper) before you can go to Hong Kong or Macau on your own.
2. Hong Kong and Macau Pass Application Procedures
For first-time application, you must submit an application in person to the local entry-exit administration office. The application materials include: resident ID card and copy (copy on A4 paper, Can be copied on the same piece of paper) and fill out the "Chinese Citizen Entry-Exit Document Application Form", 2 2-inch light background color photos (you can also take photos on site at your own expense), and apply for endorsements to Hong Kong and Macau respectively. If you only go to Hong Kong, apply for a Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macau, apply for a Macau endorsement. If you go to both Hong Kong and Macau, you must apply for both places.
3. How to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao pass to work in Macao
1. Macao employers can designate or entrust a labor service company with the right to operate labor services in Macao to recruit in the mainland (recruiters should sign a recruitment contract ).
2. The labor service company will submit the relevant information of the recruited personnel (such as photos, copies of ID cards, etc.) to the Immigration Affairs Department of the Macau Public Security Police Force for verification and approval.
3. After approval, the employer will submit the information of the personnel going to Macao to the Macao Labor Affairs Bureau and submit an application for importing foreign workers.
4. The employer signs a contract with the labor service company with the approval document. The labor service company submits the approval document and contract to the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation in Beijing to apply for export approval to Australia.
5. Workers going to Australia can apply for the required documents at the place of residence of their choice within ten days.
6. Workers going to Macao will return their ID information and fees (including labor deposit and certificate fees, etc.) to the labor service company, which will apply for a pass to the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region from the Exchange Department of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the local State Council. (It takes about fifteen days).
7. After the pass is issued, the labor service company will arrange a unified time for training and departure.
8. After arriving in Macao, you must be led by your employer or go to the Immigration Department of the Macau Public Security Police Force to apply for the Non-resident Employee Identification Card (referred to as the "Non-resident Employee Card") before you can work.
