Confucius Temple is a famous scenic spot in Nanjing. When most foreigners first arrive in Nanjing, they want to visit the Confucius Temple and take a walk.

When I first arrived in Nanjing seven or eight years ago, I arrived at the Confucius Temple with great interest. I am disappointed, but I feel that most of them are selling clothes and cakes.

After many years, I took my parents to visit the Confucius Temple again and found great changes. Those clothing stores that are in the same wholesale market are gone. All storefronts, whether clothing stores, pastry shops or gift shops, are antique, clean and refreshing.

The cruise ship on Qinhuai River is still the same as before. The boat is beautiful, but it's boring for us people from the countryside. The river is too small for us to row by ourselves. The ticket price is 50 yuan/person during the day and 60 yuan/person at night.

In addition to the boat, if you don't want to go, there is human tricycles. The yellow coachman uniform on TV during the Republic of China.

A new imperial examination museum has been built, which is underground and worth seeing. There is a bronze statue of a scholar at the entrance to the ground, and there is a research room named after heaven and earth. Museum tickets 40 yuan/person. In addition, there are some hospitals in Hiram that you can go to before, and you also need tickets.

Passing by Metersbonwe Bang Wei Bang Wei Clothing Store in the scenic spot, three groups of real models stood in the window, which was very novel.

All kinds of special gifts sold in scenic spots are similar, and there is little difference from other scenic spots. Don't buy the nationally famous rain flower stones in scenic spots. There are few real rain flower stones.

Nanjing Laomendong

Nanjing Laomendong Scenic Spot Grade: National 5A Grade

Nanjing Laomendong Ticket Price: Free.

Famous scenic spots in Nanjing Laomendong: Jiang Million's Former Residence, Shangjiang Kaobang, etc.

Out of the Confucius Temple, walk five or six hundred meters to the east and you will reach the old gate. Laomendong is an antique old street with narrow streets, clean slate roads and buildings with white walls and blue tiles.

There is clear running water under the roadside bluestone, and there are various aquatic plants such as copper grass and calamus in the water.

When we arrived, the fountain by the water had just opened. Thin and ethereal water vapor rises from under the bluestone slab and drifts away.

Green plants, white walls and blue tiles, faint sound of water, like a fairyland. If it weren't for tourists coming and going, I would almost think I had traveled through time and space.

Laomendong is not as many shops as Confucius Temple, and it is not as prosperous as Confucius Temple. But I prefer Laomendong.

It is worth mentioning that the prices of snack shops are very close to the people, but many people are psychologically prepared.

There is a Xiao Zheng crisp sesame cake in the alley, which is cheap and good, and the people in line have already been discharged into the alley.

Laomendong may not be commercialized well enough, and there is no other place to collect tickets.

Next to Laomen East is the Ming City Wall. If you have the energy, you can continue your trip. Our group walked only once under the city wall and hurried home.

If you have the chance, you should still feel the historical time experienced by the city wall.
