D 1:

In the morning, you can visit the nearby Temple of Heaven, entering from the east gate and leaving from the west gate. Take bus No.20 or 120 at noon and take two stops to zhushikou South. You can walk around Qianmen Street and Dashilan, and then take bus No.59 at Qianmen to Daguan Garden. You can visit the Grand View Garden, and in the evening, you can go to the old shop on the west side of the Grand View Garden and enjoy Beijing snacks or Beijing cuisine. When you return, you can take bus No.59 to the east of Friendship Hospital and transfer to bus No.6 to return to your residence.

D2:

Take subway line 5 and take three stops to Dongdan; Take the subway 1 line to Tiananmen Square (it's no use taking the subway if you want to see the flag raising, so you must book a taxi 9110 in advance and arrive at the square before 5 o'clock), visit the Forbidden City, then come out from the north gate of the Forbidden City, walk around Jingshan and Beihai, and then come out from the north gate of Beihai to Hutong and Houhai. From the west exit of Huguosi Street, take Metro Line 4 to Xuanwumen, take Metro Line 2 for three stops to Chongwenmen, and then take Metro Line 5 for two stops to return to the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven.

Take Metro Line 5 to the south exit of Huixin West Street; Transfer to subway 10 line, take two stops in Bagou direction to Beitucheng, then transfer to subway line 8 and take one stop to the Olympic Sports Center. Go north and you will find the Water Cube and the Bird's Nest. After visiting the Bird's Nest at noon, take bus No.696 to the Asian Games Village Station on the fourth ring road in the southeast. When you have time, you can go to the Summer Palace, visit the Summer Palace, visit the nearby Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park and Peking University Tsinghua. When you return, take Metro Line 4 to Xuanwumen, take Metro Line 2 for three stops to Chongwenmen, and then take Metro Line 5 for two stops to return to the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven.

Take Metro Line 5 to the Lama Temple, transfer to Metro Line 2 to Jishuitan, take the southeast exit, run east to Deshengmen overpass and then run north. At the bus stop on the north side of Deshengmen Tower, take the 9 19 express train to Badaling and return at night.

Take the 4 1 bus near the south of Houfeng Bridge, and you can go to beijing happy valley for a day and end your five-day trip.
