20 14 immigration policy of Australian citizens in Macao

Foreigners go to Macao Special Administrative Region.

(1) At present, citizens of 66 countries and regions, including Australia and New Zealand, can visit the Macao Special Administrative Region visa-free. Holders of Australian and New Zealand passports can stay in Macao for 30 days without a visa.

(2) Starting from July 1 2065438, citizens of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam who hold ordinary passports and some official passports must obtain visas before entering the Macao Special Administrative Region, and visas on arrival are no longer applicable. Personnel from the above six countries may apply for visas to the people of China, China's embassies and consulates abroad and the Office of the Special Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong when going to the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Holders of diplomatic passports of the above six countries still enjoy visa-free treatment. In addition, officials of embassies and consulates in China and representative offices of international organizations in China and their families can apply for entry permits when they enter Macao with their passports and ID cards of diplomats, consular officials or administrative and technical personnel in China.

(3) Citizens of other countries and regions who are not visa-free may apply for visas at the local embassy or consulate of People's Republic of China (PRC) in advance, or apply for entry permits when entering Macao.
