Longmen Port Town - Major Events

1. In the 18th year of Jianwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 42), Emperor Guangwu sent General Fubo Ma Yuan to lead the general Duan Zhi and other large armies. To put down the rebellion in Jiaozhi, it passed by Wulei Mountain and Sankoutang outside Longmen Port. Later generations built the Fubo Temple at Ourei Bay as a commemoration.

3. In December of the thirty-fifth year of Wanli (1607), Annan Wengfu led hundreds of ships and thousands of bandits to attack Qinzhou via Longmen Port.

4. In the thirty-sixth year of Wanli (1608), Annan Wengfu and others attacked Qinzhou again. Zhu Guotai and Baihu Kongrong defended the enemy in Longmen Port and died heroically.

5. In the second year of Kangxi (1663), the Qing army besieged Longmen Port. Yang Yandi, who aimed to resist the Qing Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty, was defeated and fled to Fujian and Taiwan.
