In September this year, my father's unit organized employees to travel to Xi 'an. As it happened to be the weekend, I also went with them.
We set off by bus on the night of 17 10, left Hebei, crossed Henan, entered Shaanxi, and arrived in xi 'an at 8 o'clock the next day. During the two days, we visited the World Horticultural Exposition, Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi 'an Ancient City Wall, Huaqing Pool, Qin Mausoleum and Terracotta Warriors, among which I was most impressed by Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Wall, Huaqing Pool and Terracotta Warriors.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty, also known as the Great Ci 'en Temple Pagoda. This is the only ancient temple pagoda in China. It was built by Master Xuanzang to worship the Buddha statues and classics brought back from India. Xuanzang is the Tang Priest, which reminds me of my favorite novel-Journey to the West, in which there are brave and witty the Monkey King, lazy pig, hardworking sand monk and many monsters.
Xi 'an ancient city wall is the largest existing ancient castle in the world, with large scale, scientific design and complete facilities, which can be attacked and defended. Here, I also know the origin of the idiom "the city gate is on fire, which hurts the fish in the pool". A large pool was built above the city gate to prevent the enemy from attacking the city gate. Fill fish with water at ordinary times, and put water out in case of emergency. When there is no water in the pool, the fish will die.
Huaqingchi, located at the northern foot of Lintong District, Xi, was built on the site of the ancient Huaqing Palace, reflecting the extravagant and corrupt life of the ancient emperors Tang and Yang Guifei. Huaqingchi is also the site of the Xi incident that shocked China and foreign countries. Here, patriotic generals Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng remonstrated with Chiang Kai-shek and asked him to stop the civil war and unite against Japan. Since then, the second national * * * cooperation, joint anti-Japanese, finally drove the Japanese invaders out of China.
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang is one of eight wonders of the world, the burial pit of Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum and the largest underground military museum in the world, with a history of more than 2,000 years. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang were discovered in1March, 974, when villagers nearby were fighting drought and drilling wells. Now, pits 1 and 2 have been excavated. Because the existing protection technology is not advanced enough, pits 3 and 4 are afraid to dig.
There is a saying that "China will see Shenzhen in 50 years, China will see Shanghai in 100 years, China will see Beijing in 1000 years and China will see Xi in 5000 years". Xi 'an, the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty, witnessed the rise and fall of China for 5,000 years, bearing the heaviest history of the Chinese nation. We visited for two days and three nights, and the autumn rain was continuous and never stopped. Is it the autumn rain as urgent as Ma Benteng, or the autumn rain as slow as singing and dancing, which is transformed from the heavy historical rhythm of China for 5,000 years and presented to us, warning us not to forget history and strive for strength?
After returning from the tour, the autumn rain stopped, and it was sunny and cloudless in Wan Li.
