What city is Lu?

LV means Las Vegas.

It is the largest casino and entertainment city in America. Located in Nevada, a tourist city in the western United States, it is located in the southeast corner of Nevada and 466 kilometers southwest of Los Angeles. Las Vegas was originally just an oasis on the way to California, surrounded by endless deserts. Since the Spanish expedition discovered this place in 1830 and named it "Vegas", this name has been used ever since. At the beginning of the 20th century, with the access of the Union Pacific Railway, it gradually rose, and 1905 was established. In 1930s, Nevada decided to legalize gambling. As soon as this order came out, almost overnight, downtown casinos were established one after another. The name of Las Vegas "Las Vegas" also spread.

The urban economy mainly depends on tourism, which concentrates 30% of the employed population in the city and receives more than100000 tourists every year. There are luxurious nightclubs, hotels, restaurants and casinos in the city, such as Charleston Entertainment District and Death Valley National Expo. The suburbs are mostly mining areas and pastures, such as the large-scale nellis afb and the Nevada proving ground of the US Energy Research and Development Agency.

Now Las Vegas has world-class resort hotels and world-class large-scale performances and high-tech entertainment facilities. In addition, in terms of natural landscapes and huge projects, it also has world-famous landscapes such as the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam.
