How much is the compensation for the loss of ID card?
If a tourist's identity card is lost in the process of traveling, the travel agency shall bear civil liability for compensation. Including retrieving documents, assisting the police, and compensating tourists for reasonable losses caused by losing their identity cards. Such as: transportation expenses, lost time, replacement of identity cards, accommodation expenses due to failure to take transportation as scheduled, etc.
Resident identity card is a document for citizens to carry out social activities, maintain social order, safeguard citizens' legitimate rights and interests and prove their citizenship. All citizens in China who have reached the age of 16 must apply for an ID card, and those who have not reached the age of 16 can also apply for it. In other words, they must have their ID cards after 16 years old, and they may not be able to apply for them before 16 years old because they are underage. The function of the resident ID card is:

(2) household registration;
(3) military service registration;
(4) marriage registration;
(5) Admission and employment;
(6) Handling notarization business;

Article 47 Postal companies shall compensate for the loss of vouched mail according to the following restrictions:
(a) if the insured mail is lost or completely damaged, it shall be compensated according to the insured amount; In case of partial damage or missing internals, the actual loss of the mail shall be compensated according to the ratio of the insured amount to the total value of the mail.
(2) If the uninsured vouched mail is lost, damaged or the contents are short, compensation shall be made according to the facts, but the maximum amount of compensation shall not exceed three times the charge; If the registered letter is lost or damaged, it shall be compensated at three times the charge. Postal companies shall specify the restrictions mentioned in the preceding paragraph in the notice of business premises and the mail documents provided to users in a way that can attract the attention of users.
If a postal company intentionally or grossly neglects to cause loss of vouched mail, or fails to fulfill the obligations specified in the preceding paragraph, it has no right to invoke the limited liability for compensation specified in the first paragraph of this article.
