Which province and city is Lianzhou in?
Lianzhou, a county-level city managed by Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northwest of Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, with a total area of 2,663.33 square kilometers. In June 2022, it was selected into the list of "Top 100 Counties with National County Tourism Development Potential in 2022".
There are four explanations for the origin of Lianzhou's name: 1. Huanglianling (now Lianshan) in Lianzhou is rich in coptis, which is named after things. 2. Lianzhou mountains are undulating, dangerous on three sides and surrounded by water on all sides. Therefore, there is a saying that "even Wanshan is a mountain and more water is a water", which is named after mountains and rivers. Lianzhou is rich in lead and tin mines. There is an old saying that "lead is not refined, but even", which is named after minerals. Lianzhou is surrounded by mountains and rivers, but the traffic is blocked and people are eager for smooth traffic. The word "Lian" means the merger of vehicles and ships, so it is named because of its will.

Lianzhou belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone and is affected by the monsoon all the year round. The northeast monsoon prevails in the winter half year (10 ~ March of the following year); Summer monsoon prevails in the summer half year (April-September), with southwest wind as the main factor.
Restricted by the background of East Asian monsoon circulation, Lianzhou often blows northerly winds in winter and the climate is dry and cold. In summer, southerly winds often blow, and the climate is hot and rainy due to the prevalence of warm and humid air currents. In addition, due to the influence of topography (Nanling Mountains), it has obvious mountain climate characteristics of "warm Spring Festival Evening, cold autumn early". Large-scale and mesoscale weather systems that directly affect the climate and weather changes in Lianzhou: polar continental high and its front and cold front are dominant in winter and spring, and subtropical high and tropical cyclone (typhoon) are dominant in summer and autumn. ?
