Which province does Xinyang belong to?

Xinyang is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province.

Xinyang, known as Yiyang, Shenzhou, Guangzhou and Shencheng in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province. It is known as the tea capital and is located at the southernmost tip of Henan Province. It connects Anhui to the east, Hubei to the west, and Hubei to the south. It is a thoroughfare for three provinces, a strategic location on the Yangtze River and Han River, and a regional central city in Hubei, Henan, and Anhui.

Xinyang has an excellent geographical location. It is located at the junction of the Wuhan Economic Circle, the Wanjiang City Belt, the Central Plains Economic Zone and the hinterland of the Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon "Two Vertical" Economic Zones in the "Plan for Promoting the Rise of Central China" of the State Council. It is in the middle of the densely populated areas of eastern and central China.

Xinyang is known as the capital of mountains, rivers and tea, and is known as "the country in the north of the Yangtze River and the country in the south of the Yangtze River". Chu culture and Central Plains culture blend here, forming a unique humanistic environment in Xinyang. Xinyang is the only city in China that has been selected as one of China's top ten livable cities for eight consecutive years. It has won titles such as China's Excellent Tourism City, National Garden City, China's Happiest City, and China's Most Beautiful City.
