Entering Tibet in spring and autumn, the temperature is still a little cold in the morning and evening. You can choose a thick down jacket for your coat and a thick sportswear for your pants, and you can add a pair of autumn pants inside.

In summer, the temperature difference between day and night in Tibet is relatively large. Remember to bring a coat. You can wear it in the morning and evening. For sun protection, wearing shorts is not recommended in Tibet.

When you enter Tibet in winter, you can choose a thick down jacket and a thick sweater to cope with the cold in winter. Pants can choose thick and loose outer pants and a thick pair of autumn pants, so you don't have to wear woolen pants, which makes it inconvenient to move.

It is suggested that the underwear in Tibet should be mainly cotton, with 2 or 3 sets. Underwear made of pure cotton is more comfortable to wear and can reduce static electricity in autumn and winter.

Shoes, choose a pair of suitable outdoor travel shoes. Of course, if you take the regular route to Tibet, ordinary sports shoes will be enough. You can bring more socks and slippers if you can. If you need to go to high-altitude scenic spots such as Mount Everest and Namco, remember to bring more clothes, where the temperature is relatively low all year round (both Mount Everest and Namco rent military coats, but the price is not cheap).

You need border cards to go to some border areas in Tibet, such as Mount Everest and Ali. You can apply for a border card at the location of the household registration book or in Lhasa. Of course, if you join a group to go to Everest, you don't need tourists to worry about it. The Tourist Association will take care of it.
